I Don't Like Mondays...again!

Hello friends,
Mondays must be the least liked day of the week - do you agree?
My London working days at the moment are Mondays and Tuesdays but I'm glad to say in 2 weeks' time I'm going back to working on Thursdays and Fridays.  I'm returning to a department I used to work in and I'm looking forward to going back - I'm hoping they have missed my incessant crafty and Bella chat!
So..to make this Monday much nicer I think I should have a giveaway...
this is to commemorate my new blog makeover and well, I just feel like giving something away!
How about.....

I have a brand new pack to send out to a lucky winner.
A little bit about Bitty Blossoms - looking back I've used them quite a lot!
On this....

and this...(my sons do crop up often don't they!)
I featured them on a Friday Die-Day....
and of course..I put them on a tag....
I think we all agree how sweet and nice they are.
Just leave me a comment telling me your favourite flower please and
Bella will clock in for work on Saturday!
Take care friends.

Morning Christine,
Well I do hope the next two weeks fly by for you so you will enjoy your Mondays again. I don't mind Mondays anymore as it is the first day of the week that I have my grandson, so all good.
Thank you for the chance of this lovely candy, I don't have this set so it would be very welcome if I was lucky enough to win.
I hope you have a good day. Hugs Linda xx

Hi Christine, I don't have this set of dies but do love making flowers. They are so easy to make and add dimension to cards. My favourite flower must be roses, multitude of colours and types, just love them.

Hi Christine,
Thanks for offering this candy - I have had this die on my wish list for a while, so would love to win.
I love flowers that have a strong scent as well as looking beautiful and I don't think you can beat a rose for that. However I do love fuchsias, even without a scent!

Morning Christine,

I have to agree we don't like Mondays in our house! and this is definately down to work and school, but hey ho such is life!! Thanks for giving us a chance to win, bitty blossoms are just lovely dies. My favourite flower would be Peony, I have one in a pot in our back garden, I just love the wonderful layers of the petals and how they all look scrunched up. Hence i do have the peony grand die, and it is used as often as I can.

Good luck everyone.

Christine, not keen on Mondays either. The week-ends just seem to fly by. I've had this die on my wish list since it came out. As I make my cards solely to sell to raise funds for different charities my funds are very limited and that's why I used dies like the blossom and the scalloped circles to make flowers. I would love to be in with a chance of winning this die. Best wishes, Kym xxx

Hi Christine - I am another member of yeugh Mondays! Especially as we just don't seem to be getting rid of the rain either. Still your projects remind us that summer can bring flowers and the blossom dies are lovely - the foliage dies are fab too and ones I use quite a bit. I find I am making more flowers because the garden is such a wet mess.

Hi Christine. Thank you so much for giving us a change to win this great set of dies you are so generous. I would have to say I think my favourite flower in craft would have to be the poinsettia. x.

Morning Christine,
Being retired all days are very similar so Mondays are fine with me.
You are so generous to your blog fans with give aways.
My favourite flower is the rose and we have many in the garden closely followed by the sweet pea.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi Christine, hope the time until you are back to your preferred working pattern goes quickly! Monday's would sure look a lot better if we had some sunshine! I have two favourite flowers and find it hard to choose between them - roses and peony, although I suppose they are very similar so perhaps its the form of the flower I like rather than the flower itself!! x

Sue Yorkshire said...

Morning Christine. I don't like Monday's either, some sunshine would make it better

I love these dies and they are on my wish list so it would be nice to cross them off

My favourite flowers are tiger and calla lilies but for scent you can't beat freesias.

Hope Monday passes quickly for you

Hi Christine I don't mind Mondays anymore now that I am retired, I don't really have a favourite flower as I like all flowers and make lots in card making. Yours are always brilliant. I use all my scraps to make them as well so I have various bags of different sizes. I don't have these dies so it would be lovely to win them if I was lucky.

Hi Christine

Hi Christine, I ust be in a minority of one! I don't mind Mondays. Being retired we tend not to go out at weekends but go shopping on Monday and it is usually nice and quiet. My favourite flower is Clematis, we have lots in the garden and they are so beautiful at the moment. You are so generous with your give-aways Christine, would love to win this so thanks for the chance. Thanks for showing us your beautiful layout again, lovely boys and Bella, of course. Hello Christine, what a generous lady you are, another giveaway. My favourite flowers are lillies & orchids, although I never seem to keep the latter for very long. In craft, my favourite at the moment is a set of stamps which make up different looks of flower-stunning-& I can't stop using them. I already have this set of dies but if I was lucky enough to be picked I would give them to my crafty friend who doesn't have them. Good luck to everyone.

I lost my job six years ago cause of illness and now have M.E. It would be so fab to be well enough to work, I miss it loads (and the money!). One day I will!!! Hi Christine
You are so kind in giving us all a chance of owning such a pretty set of flower dies.
I love all flowers but my absolute favourite is the lime green spikey chrysanthemum. I believe they call it the Shamrock Chrysanthemum Bloom. I think I like it because it is unusual. I also like calla lillies, they are so elegant. I like to see both of these in contemporary flowers arrangements.
Hope your Monday turned out just fine.
Good luck to everyone.

Hi Christine - you really are a kind lady to give away such a great Candy prize. I have these dies so please don't put me in for a chance to win yours - only being fair!! I wanted to say that I love the projects you have shown, especially the tag - I'm really into tags at the moment and you have used my favourite newsprint paper. The little flowers are great and really look sweet.

Must confess that I used to hate Mondays with a passion (mostly because of a stressful job) then I took early retirement and I lurve Mondays now.

PS Any more pics of Bella please???

Good day to you! Mondays still bring back yukky memories even if I'm now retired. I used to think up a million reasons why I shouldn't go to work that day but commitment and a guilty conscience got me going....reluctantly. Now I can sit home and smell the flowers and enjoy my day. My fav' flower....magnolia for it's beauty and fragrance. Cheers......MarilynY

Hi Christine, Thankyou so much for the chance to win this amazing die set. I love all flowers, but roses hold a special place in my heart. My grandfather grew roses in his back garden. These were very precious to him & no-one was allowed to touch them. Yet, every year on my birthday he would cut several & present them to me as a gift. I was the only one who ever had a rose from them & Mum & Nan were very jealous. He used to say it was a gift for his gift. I was born on his birthday & when he asked Mum where his present was she answered there in that crib.

Good afternoon Christine, the new layout of your blog site is brill, looks fresh, not that I didn't like the other layout! Talking about fresh, I wish we'd get some lovely fresh sunshine days, instead of these stale wet days, it's about time we had some sun! I've always, said my favourite flowers are longifloram lilies, but I just love orchids, lots of people don't do so well with them, but I must be doing something right (don't know what!) as I have one that I have had for over six years which still repeatedly flowers. I also seem to be able to rescue ones that others throw out, because stopped flowering! Not that I'm much good with other plants, they seem to survive, but don't thrive! Sorry I've waffled on, it's lovely to see all your wonderful creations and inspiration, thank you for the chance to win such lovely dies, as I've now got my new Grand Calibur, so can once again practice more of these lovely cards and other wonderful craft projects that you do. Take care Alison :)
