Friday Die Day

Hello friends
Still keeping with Christmas and featuring Holiday Bell
for Friday Die Day this week.
This is a 3 piece die set and the approximate measurements are:
Leaves: 1.50 x .75 in. 3.75 x 2.00cm
Ribbon: 2.00 x 3.50 in. 5.25 x 9.00cm
Bell: 1.75 x 2.00 in. 4.50 x 5.00cm
This is how it looks cut/embossed.

For my card design I selected a white card base and stamped a sentiment
to the bottom (Altenew).
I then matted silver foil card and white card.

My card elements - white tag (Sapphire Plus die)
the bell cut twice - white and silver, the ribbon cut twice - red and silver,
a mini poinsettia, green leaf and two stamens.

The flower stamens inserted and affixed at the back represent the
clapper (I had to look up the correct word for that!)

I added the bells to the tag (edged the base of the tag with red card).
One silver ribbon die cut in place.

The remaining elements added, the finished card.

I'm liking the fresh look of the colours.
Also thinking this die set would work for wedding and anniversary cards.

Holiday Bell is available on the website here - again limited quantities
but more are on their way so please check back.
Take care friends and have a lovely weekend.

Build a Stocking

Hello friends

It has been a festive week!
I've been getting ready to teach a Chrismassy workshop on Saturday
and this is one of the projects.
It uses Build a Stocking - one of the new Christmas dies.

Lots of pieces in this die set and I've used every one in my project.

I matted gold mirror card onto an ivory card base and then an ivory mat.
I die cut the stocking twice to create a white cuff and added white dots with my gel pen.
The rest is cut from various colours and piled into the stocking.

The 'Be Merry' is from Naughty or Nice - I featured this die set

Build a Stocking is available on the website here, just a few left but
more are on their way, they've been selling fast!

Take care friends - please stop by tomorrow for Friday Die Day.

Lavender Trike and Tallulah!

Hello friends

Featuring Lavender Trike today and that beautiful frame die
behind is Tallulah Frill.
I chose black card for the trike and lilac card for the lavender just tipped
with some distress ink.
Ivory for the frame die and a die cut sentiment.

Very simple to make and a little more 'fussy' than my normal style
but good to step out of my box occasionally!

Tallulah Frill is available to pre-order here.

Today I'm heading up to London to celebrate a friend's birthday,

Friday Die Day

Hello friends
This week's Friday Die Day features a new Christmas die -
A 5 piece sentiment die set and this is how they look cut from red cardstock.
I particularly like 'Be Merry' !

I delved down my box for some other die cuts and discovered
Fretwork Accents, Classic Oval, a snowflake from Create A Flake Six
and a mini poinsettia.

I placed a white mat onto a card front.  Added Fretwork Accents,
layered the oval and the sentiment to middle.

The finishing touch was the snowflake and mini poinsettia - easy!

Naughty or Nice is available on the website here.
Fretwork Accents is available here.
Create A Flake Six is available here.
There is a Christmas section on the website here,
more items will be added very soon -
also did I mention it is FREE postage and packing!

Annabelle's Trousseau

Hello friends

Lovely to see all the comments yesterday,
it's not too late to leave a comment on Hump Day Giveaway,
a winner is picked next Tuesday evening to be announced on the Wednesday.

Something new...
Over on the website is a whole new collection available to pre-order.

The detail is gorgeous in this collection with different layering frames.
Beautifully designed by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders.

The die set I'm featuring today is Annabelle's Trousseau.

I've allowed the die to do the work, cut in ivory and layered onto some
pretty flowered paper.  The embellishments are silk flowers that I purchased in
the States and a typed and die cut and sentiment.

Annabelle's Trousseau is available to pre-order on the website here.
The entire Chantilly Lace collection can be viewed here.

Worth mentioning: with pre-orders we are guided by the distributor when it
comes to dates, sometimes they are prompt, sometimes they are not! :(

Elliott is always on the case chasing them up so please be rest assured
if you place a pre-order we will get them to you as speedily as we can.

Take care friends - please stop by tomorrow for Friday Die Day.
