Hello Blogland,
Today is a layout about Love.
This features in this month's Scrapbook Magazine,
the photo was taken a year or so ago with my youngest son Elliott - I think we look alike!
I've added my photo of the layout so you can see the elements in clearer detail,
I used Eyelet Circles to cut canvas, remember to try all different mediums with your dies.
Daisy Flower Topper and Foliage create the cluster in the corner.
This is part of their 'Scraplift' section where readers can use my design to create their own layouts.
I love the papers - Cosmo Cricket - Tea for Tea...in fact very much my cup of tea!
I shall be working on something for Friday Die-Day today,
don't forget to send across any requests as I've got a special new notebook devoted to Friday Die-Day!
Take care friends.

Yes Elliot is certainly like you Christine ,im currently working on our family tree scrapbook but i must admit im finding it very difficult to find olde worlde papers to go with the older black and white photos i have of the 1930s i have tried distressing but im not very good at it ,must try harder im thinking. Have a nice day Elaine H X
Morning Christine, yes there is no mistaking who Elliott looks like - it is a lovely, happy picture. I also love the way the eyelet circle looks underneath the flower and leaves.
Have a lovely day and look forward to Friday Die-day.

Hi Christine, lovely layout, and I agree, your son does look like you. I have one son and normally don't think of using flower's or flowery papers for a layout for him, but the layout you have created looks very effective. I have been having a bit of a splurge on buying spellbinders dies recently, since purchasing the GB. So any friday die day post with grand peony, grand labels 1, would be great.
thanks lv norma
Hi Christine,
Two peas in a pod comes to mind, love the look of the page, only ever helped my granddaughter with two scrap books she made for her mum never made one for myself its on the to do list.
Have a good day.

Hi Christine, what a lovely picture of you and Elliot, he must feel like a star being featured in the magazine! The layout is beautiful and really compliments the photo. Looking forward to Friday die day! x
Hi Christine, stunning layout. I especially like the nine squares of backing paper behind the photo. Splitting them has lightened the look.
Hi Christine
beautiful L.O. & what wonderful memories for you when (as he will) be all grown up.
hugs

Hallo Christine, Welcome back home. Loved the holiday photos you put on blog the other day.
What a lovely scrap page, the photo does pick out the obvious. I agree with Norma on blog, I would not have thought of flowers and Son's going together, but they do!
Please can we have a Grand Peony demo on Friday Die-day or another grand box shape die at some point? Thank you, luv, Carolyn.
Lovely page! You are very alike indeed and the photo of you both is gorgeous! xx
