Father's Day Card 1

Hello friends,
It's Monday and I'm back to work in London for a couple of day....
oh how I wish I was at home crafting.
Glad you enjoyed my little video yesterday, I've passed on all your lovely comments to Elliott - he had trouble getting his head out of the door this morning!
Back to today...if you happen to already have a copy of this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine you will have seen that I created five cards for a Father's Day feature.  This was so much fun.
The photos feature the staff at the magazine when they were little with their dads,
so touching and lovely images.
This is one of the cards I created using Labels Four to cut the photo and a surround.
A couple of Classic Hearts too.
The papers are Lilly Bee - Memorandum.
I will share the other cards with you over the next little while interspersed with some other crafty items!
Have a great day, take care.

Hi Christine
lovely father's day card or even a male birthday card. Why are men so difficult to make cards for or is it just me?

Morning Christine, yes I bought the mag last week and have seen your creations they are all lovely. I especially like the way you have cut off part of the labels 4 and used the bracket edgeability too just down one side.
I agree it is very hard to make cards for men but this layout really works and can be adapted for a birthday I am sure.
Hope you enjoy your day at work today.

Morning Christine

Great card for a Dad, mens cards are so difficult sometimes so the photo topper is a fabulous idea.

Hope your time in London isnt too stressful

Hi Christine, Nice Layout. Love the text based background. I am always on the lookout for these type of papers. I have used newspaper in the past but most have print that comes off on the hands = no good for touchy feely

Hi Christine, I saw your creations in the magazine at the weekend and they are really inspirational. A great idea to personalise a card. Hope you don't mind, but I may adapt this idea when making a card for my son to give to my hubby. I know that my hubby would love this type of card, any dad would cherish it forever!.

take care

Hi Christine, I loved the fathers day cards that you featured in the magazine this month, they will bring a smile to any Dad's face on Fathers day.
Well Elliot is a film director in the making, he should be very proud as I am sure you are!

Hi Christine,
The moment I saw this in the magazine I said to my daughter, what a special way to create a card for a dad, and I mean very much. The shapes and style are gorgeous and so understated which is perfect for the 'boys'.
Hope your back crafting soon. Hugs Linda xx
