Spring Sunshine

Hello friends

First off answering some questions:
Jean Z asked what sort of paper I use for the Roses die,
for the recent Create A Rose, I used Bazill cardstock.
If you find the card does not 'give' enough, then spritz it lightly with water,
this breaks down the fibres.

Now, some news on the Tool n'One.  If you subscribe to the website newsletter
you will have received this via email too.

The latest news just in from the United States...!
The original anticipated dispatch date has been further extended due to high production,
Spellbinders should be shipping this item to distributors on 21 April and arrive
in the UK shortly thereafter.

I am so grateful for everyone's patience - if you have any further queries
please do not hesitate to email: hope-chances@live.co.uk

I've received some more wonderful pictures of April's Charity Kit...
thank you so much ladies.

Here is Lesley's with the addition of gingham paper,
and here is Elaine's - with the addition of a gorgeous butterfly!
They are beautiful and I love how you have put your own artistic twist on the design.
I promise not to keep you waiting too long for the Easter project.. I can't believe
Easter is nearly upon us - I haven't put up my Easter Tree yet (yes, I have one of those!)

Now some Spring pictures - Mitchell went to the woods on his bike and Bella went too.
The Bluebells are appearing.
And, last night I took Bella to the park,
perhaps I should have been crafting
but I couldn't resist a walk in the sunshine!

Today is Coffee and Create - aka eating lots of cake!
Take care friends.

Hi Christine. I don't blame you for getting outside into the beautiful sunshine, the wind was still very chilly here even in the sun though.....brr!
"Your" woods are going to burst into a bluebell carpet any day now aren't they. (Good pic Mitchell, another one in a couple of weeks will look so different!) They are just starting to open around here, I will be spending the day with my Beaver Scouts in a local farmers bluebell woods in a few weeks, it will be wonderful. The scent really is unique isn't it!
Lovely to see the finished kits, love the little twists that make them so special :) Take care.

Morning Christine, I'm loving the piccies of the charity kits, especially the one with the added patterned paper, but both really pretty.
Bella is so lucky, getting these long walks, I bet she absolutely loves it, she is so cute. Enjoy the sunshine while you can, although we have had some sunshine here in the North, the wind has been very cold.
Have a lovely day in the studio, it's one of my linedancing days today.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine, my rose and sunflower dies arrived last week (a birthday present from my husband) and I have had great fun with them. I don't blame you for getting out into the sunshine - I'm off out to spend some family time in the sunshine today. We don't see the sun very often and we need to make the most of it.
Enjoy your cake.

Thanks for the news on Tool and One delay Christine - I am beginning to wonder if it will every arrive. Not your fault at all, but it's beginning to frustrate me now.

I have a lot of leaves on my bluebells, but no flowers yet, though I'm a lot further north than you. (Roughly level with the Lake District).
