I Don't Like Mondays! Giveaway Time!

Hello friends,
If you are approximately the same age as me and when you hear the words
'I Don't Like Mondays' you may think of the Boomtown Rats -
I always do, burst into song and irritate the boys immensely!
But yes it is Monday and I'm back working in London for a couple of days.
To cheer things up I'm going to have a giveaway...
What is one of my absolute most favourite things...??
Yes...BUTTERFLIES!

I want to spread my butterfly addiction and give away this brand new pack of
Wings of Hope
These are stunning dies and look so beautiful when cut/embossed and stencilled,
here I've used one on a treat bag.

Just leave me a comment and tell me your 'addiction' - maybe it is something you like to eat, collect - flowers, chocolate, ice cream ...?
Looking forward to not feeling totally alone in my butterfly addicted world!
Bella (the Champ!) will pick out a winner on Thursday.
Take care friends.

I adore the bag you have made, the inking really sets it off and makes the bag into something very special.
Hope you have a great week.

Hi Christine, l don't have your passion for butterflies, but do use them on cards, they are so fragile looking and add something pretty to any design. My addiction is ice cream can't live without it and of course Spellbinders dies.

Fingers crossed, Wilma

My addiction? Making things. When I go even for a day without doing some form of art I become a very crabby baby. Even at 60!

Hi Christine,
My addiction at the moment has to be spellbinders, my sister and I are building up quite a collection, but do not yet have the butterflies. I spend every spare minute using my spellbinders it has become quite a joke between my family and friends, if they can't find me they know where I'll be.
Love Chris X

Morning Christine, Fabulous tag, love everything about it and the colours are beautiful, will definitely be 'copying' this one, thank you for the inspiration. I would love to win the Spellbinders Wings of Hope, here's hoping with fingers crossed ha ha. My addiction is crafty goodies, my craft room is very 'well stocked' but whenever I make a card, there is always something that I don't have. It's the same scenario as having a full wardrobe and then having nothing to wear ha ha. Love Spellbinders and use them on every card, I also put small flowers on all my cards, even on male cards but I use 'male oriented' paper for those. Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine,
How generous you are, I too have a small addiction for butterflies and put them on many of my cards but I only have the small butterfly die so to win this set would be amazing.
I also nearly always add pearls or gem stones. On a floral front I love roses and we have many in the garden.
Have a good day everyone.

Hi Christine
Love your tag - the fab flutterby is the star of the show for sure and I would be honoured to be the winner - thanks for the chance :o)
My addiction has to be everything papercraft and blogging - I 'have' to do both everyday and have withdrawal symptoms if I don't!!!!
As they say 'my name is Debbie and I'm a craft addict' - but I'm not looking to change that anytime soon!
Have a fabulous day.
Take care

OMW Christine that bag is absolutely stunning. Love it the colours and design are wonderful. My addiction is flowers and ribbon. I love flowers paper, fabric or real. i have lots of ribbon but dont often use it as it only for stroking and looking at. I am on a mission though to start to reduce the size of my stash, so i will be starting to use it shortly xx hazel

Redanne said...

Hi Christine, whilst I love all things craft and have far too much stash (!) I am totally addicted to butterflies, DH says that if it has a butterfly on it I will buy it, he is right, on this occasion anyway. On nice days I sit in the garden with camera at hand waiting for them to arrive and spend to much time looking at them, I forget that I have the camera! As in your case they have become a bit of a trademark with me. Thanks so much for the chance to win these gorgeous dies. A x

Hi Christine, I may have a small obsession with books. I have 6 6ft bookcases filled to the brim & another 3 book cases worth stashed in cupboards, cubbyholes, on top of desks etc... & that's after a big clear out to charity to make room for my crafty goodies.
I do share you're love of butterfly's though since visiting butterfly sanctuarys with my first school. This love blossomed while studying counselling; as it is a well used metaphor for transformation / helping others. If you try to help a struggling butterfly out of it's cocoon it will die soon after as it will not have built up the strength it needs in its wings to fly. All you can do is provide the best environment possible e.g. Keeping the temperature constant & predators at bay.
I would love to win this beautiful die set. Thanks for the chance.

Lynn said...

Hi Christine, my addiction???....Spellbinders and choc digestives (once the pack's open....I have to eat them all). Not good for my waistline!, spellbinder's are better for the waitline but not good for bank balance Oh well c'est la vie ! Lynn xx

Sue B said...

Morning Christine,
Firstly I would like to say what a lovely bright bag this is with the butterfly on it. My addiction is my cupboard (this is where I craft) I have to go in there every day. I usually make or start a project but even if I dont craft I have to go in there as it is my little (little being the operative word) sanctuary.
Ever since I saw the book you had made on C&C last week I have now become addicted to making them.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Christine, You're not old if you remember the 'I hate Monday's song. It's when your kids remember that you feel old.
My daughter introduced me to crafting recently & it has fast become an addiction. I love my spellbinders dies the best as they are so easy to use & I can copy designs from my favourite posts. I would love to win this die set to add to my collection. The butterflies are just gorgeous! Thanks for the chance.

hi Christine

I remember that song like it was yesterday, definately one from my era, and I do hate Monday's. Love the treat bag. Thanks for giving us a chance to win some goodies from you, it is very kind. Unlike most of the other ladies, I must confess that my biggest addiction would have to be CHOCOLATE, especially in the form of a KitKat. Plays havoc with the diet, (especially as we have a vending machine at work which sells them), must must keep trying and have a positive mental attitude! I should craft more to keep my fingers busy!

This is easy.....I'm addicted to crafting blogs. When we were talking about our internet use at my 70th birthday party Saturday, my baby sister said I must get a lot of spam having more than 100 emails a day. I told her "Oh, no" that is not counting any SPAM. I subscribe to that many blogs and crafting groups", I love to layer cards. It has becom increasingly hard with carpell tunnel, arthritus and diabetic nerouphy in both hands. With spellbinders I don't have to usze the sissors. I let the die do the cutting.

Oh Christine what a lovely surprise on a bleak Monday seeing your generous "give away". You are so kind in giving us the opportunity of owning such a beautiful set of dies. Thank you for the chance. The treat bag is stunning too.
Like many of the ladies above, I am addicted to crafting and Spellbinders. I can't go upstairs without going into my craft room, then end up spending hours in there having a sneaky "craft fix". I am addicted to your blog too, my day does not start until I have read it. Having a sweet tooth I love cakes and buns. Not had so many this last month though as I am trying to lose weight for my hols in September.
Writing all this down makes me realise I probably have more addictions than I imagined...ah well.

Hi Christine,
Yes I have to admit that I loved the Boomtown Rats and still do, so that is my age given away!!!

I have to say that my addiction is for my leather bikers (Harley Davidson) jacket which my beloved phil got me as a truly romantic supprise one xmas even though he had already got me a gift. But if that can't be used then it's one of two...
: Jewellery, Phil always brought me some, so now I buy at least one piece each year depending on how much I save, gold or silver and sometimes with a gem stone/s

: Craft, something is always being brought to add to my collection, and now it's collecting the spellbinders dies

I could go on as I can't live without chocolate so I have the mini bix with chocolate for breakfast every morning with a muller light chocolate sprinkles yogurt, that way I can justify eating it everyday as part of my healthy diet (slimming world approved)

Sorry I have far too many addictions so I'd better end it here!!!
Best wishes
Caz xxx

Hi Christine - just found your blog via Julia's. Must admit I am glad that I did - the treat bag is absolutely brilliant. I would probably spend more time looking at the bag than what was inside - at least for the first 15 mins.

I adore your pictures of Bella (before and after) she does look a cutie. My hubby and I have had cats all our married life and we lost Ebony, our black and white girly in January and then Misty our tabby grey and white in February. The house is sooo quiet without them. Anyway I guess you could say that I am addicted to cats, chocolate, Ben and Jerry's Karamel Sutra ice cream (oh oh oh it is gorgeous), Spellbinders and lastly but definitely not least - paper!!! I lurve paper, so much so that my hubby is thinking that he will have to strengthen the floor in my craftroom!!! Not that he could get in there to do said strengthening!

Better go for now - love your treat bag and love your blog.
