Hello friends
For this week's Friday Die Day I'm featuring Snow Ball.
Along with your crafty materials you'll also need 2p for this card...

A snowy silhouette scene designed by Sharyn Sowell.
The approximate measurement of this die set is
5.00 x 2.45 in. 12.70 x 6.40cm
I've die cut it twice, once from burgundy card and from silver foil card.
I'll be affixing the silver foil card behind to create a narrow drop shadow.
I then used A2 Curved Borders one to create tram lines,
held in place with removable tape before running through the Platinum.
Once die cut, used scissors to trim away the section revealing a shaped curved aperture.
Keep that curved piece - you need it.
I cut the same design into Christmassy paper (Tim Holtz).
Affixed this over the white card to ensure it was of a reasonable thickness.
Do the same with the curved piece.
Created a card base from ivory Hopsack card (Papermill Direct),
coloured card panel on top.
Snow Ball die cut affixed to the reverse of the curved insert piece.
On the reverse affix Crafty Foam Tape.
Ensure you put pieces either side of the curved aperture.
Next add a 3D Foam Circle to your tuppence!
Place onto your card base, overlay your card front and you have created your
own slider.
Affix your Snow Ball die cut and curve onto the coin.
It now moves from left to right.
Add some embellishments, I've gone for Mini Poinsettias,
just be aware that you need to allow for the movement.
The finished card, fun to make and lovely to receive.

Morning Christine, I thought you were going to make a 'slider' card, and Wow !! great that you can make the slider aperture without having to buy a slider die, brilliant. I adore the paper you have used and this card is fabulous.
