Friday Die Day

Hello friends

It's Friday Die Day and this week my project is featuring

Sew Sweet Sentiments.

This is one of the dies from the Sew Sweet Collection 

designed by Tammy Tutterow and which is...'so sweet'! 

This die set consists of 7 dies with approximate measurements of:

Scalloped Heart: 1.19 x 1.51 in. 3.10 x 3.90 cm

Heart: 1.00 x 1.36 in. 2.60 x 3.50 cm
Sweet: 0.70 x 1.80 in. 1.80 x 4.60 cm
With: 1.50 x 1.00 in. 3.90 x 2.50 cm
Love: 1.82 x 2.11 in. 8.80 x 11.40 cm
My: 1.25 x 0.89 in. 3.20 x 2.30 cm
Heart (sentiment): 2.72 x 1.24 in. 6.80 x 3.20 cm

I've chosen to use the two hearts and the word 'love' for my design.

I cut them using ivory and gold mirror card.

I've also used Fancy Scallop Edge Circles,

two from this die set, again cut from ivory and gold mirror card.

A 6 x 6 ivory card base and patterned paper,

this is from one of the Anna Griffin paper sets available on the website here.

Delighted that we have finally managed to get some AG stock.

I affixed all the ivory die cuts over the gold to create a very narrow drop shadow.

So narrow you may need to squint to see it! 

Positioned the two circles in place, overlapping.

I then affixed the three hearts to the left hand side of the circles.

Prepared my signature little flowers and leaves, cut from watercolour card
and coloured with distress inks.

I clustered the flowers and leaves around the hearts, added the 'Love'

die cut and little pearls to finish.
