Hello friends
Again today revealing something new...something very special and new!
If you've been watching Create and Craft you may have caught the adverts
regarding this little delight so today I thought I would explain a little more.
This is Spellbinders Sapphire -
a new die cutting and embossing machine that is easy to use and portable.
Isn't it sweet!
This lightweight machine (less than 1.9 pounds) can cut/emboss dies up to 2 ¼”
wide with the turn of a handle. It has a fold up tray and 2.5” feed,
a
locking suction base and a easy crank handle.
The machine comes with all the plates you need, consisting of A) white base plate,
B) blue embossing plate, C) grey cutting plate and a tan embossing mat -
it's the normal sandwiches you use with your Grand Calibur so nothing new to learn there :)
B) blue embossing plate, C) grey cutting plate and a tan embossing mat -
it's the normal sandwiches you use with your Grand Calibur so nothing new to learn there :)
There is a new range of of coordinating blue Sapphire
dies but it will also work with your
smaller designs of the Nestabilties and Shapeabilities family.
So here's my thinking - it is nice and dinky, it's going to be perfect to take away
to your holiday home, take abroad, have on a lap tray in the evenings in front of the TV,
on your craft desk...it's going to free up quite a lot of space.
Long train journeys...book a seat with a table!
Also a a great gift for someone just starting out in craft and new to die cutting.
Where can you get one??
The Sapphire is being launched on Create and Craft, 10am this Thursday.
The price is £39.99.
Look out for my good friend Kim Hupke from Spellbinders who is flying over
from America especially to demonstrate.
Also take a look at the design boards, I was busy making those last week :)
I'm really excited about this new launch, the die selections are wonderful too.
Other news:
Elliott, Mum and I are off to the Royal Marsden today, we have an appointment to
discuss future MRI scans - fingers crossed please as we hope to negotiate Elliott
being referred to open sided MRI scanners.
Pleased to say the bluebells have now come on a treat - can you spot my
Blue..bella!?
Take care friends.

Wishing you very good luck today, hope everything goes to Elliott's advantage. The Sapphire looks good, I use my ciuttlebug such a lot because it takes up less space on the desk, but is getting a little worn out, so may need to invest in the Sapphire.
Good luck again today,
Chris xx
Fingers crossed for the three of you Christine ,hope everything goes smoothly and turns out well for Elliott.

Hi Christine , Lovely little machine very handy. Hope all goes well with Elliot good luck . love Jean Z xxx
Dinky little machine, and I like it that it has been decorated. Not for me though, as I'd find it limiting, size wise, but great as a children's present, I would have thought.
Good luck at the Marsden. Will keep my fingers crossed for Elliott
Hi Christine, perfect little machine for little ones to use, however it isn't as versatile as a cuttlebug which although small, there are very small percentage of dies that cannot be cut or embossed with it.
I hope all goes well for Elliott today. X Ros
Just back from holiday, so missed any mention of the little cutter on C&C. Will have to look out for it. Hope all goes well for Elliot today.
Hi Christine, I hope all is going well at the Royal Marsden !!
What a cutie the Sapphire is !! I'm looking forward to seeing Kim and also your boards.
So glad the bluebells are now full steam ahead, and lovely Bella there peeking through them.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Christine
Wishing you all well today, really hoping Elliot is able to have the open MRI....keeping everything crossed for you!
Lovely colour machine, but also not for me as I have the Cuttlebug.
Looking forward to seeing what you have to share with us.

Hi Christine
I'm not to sure how many of these machines we actually need. Although this one would be ideal fir travelling. I do hope you manage to get Elliot onto an open sided scanner, it should make a difference for him.
It is a dinky machine I don't make enough cards to warrant buying this but as a gift I will bear that in mind Good luck at the hospital Bella looks so sweet popping her head up amongst the bluebells
Lovely little die cutter. hope all goes well today at hospital xx hazel
Hope all went well at tha Marsden and they are able to sort something out for Elliot. I like the look of this machine I feel it could be quite useful. Lovely pic of the bluebells and of course Bella x
Good luck at the hospital, fingers firmly crossed. The machine looks adorable and £40 is a good price x
Thanks for showing us this new little machine. Very interesting. Hope all went well at the hospital for Elliot
It's adorably cute!
Really dinky machine, Shame it does not take a standard A5 size. The small extra width would make all the difference for me. I do not have a die cutting machine but have lots of small dies that I use as stencils for my Parchment Craft.
Hope all went well at Hosp.
I love this new dinky machine, Ideal for flowers and small embellishments, x
