Bit Breezy!

Hello friends

Have you all been blown away?
Goodness me we've had gale force winds in the South East,
probably not the best day to have new garden fencing!

Pleased to say all went well, here are a couple of before photos...
the broken panels!
Bit of a mid-work muddle!
A rather confused Pixel hiding behind all the pots!

'After' photos will be published, as soon as I take them.
I got so engrossed in clearing up afterwards!

Due to all this garden stuff no craft projects were made, I did pop to the cabin
to organise orders and enjoy a huge chunk of bread pudding - Mum had been cooking - yum!
Normal craft timetable will resume again soon.

Take care friends.

Hi Christine. If you had waited another day the old fence may have come down on its own with just some help from this terrible wind we all seem to be having at the moment! Pixel does look puzzled, bless her.
Stay safe and drive extra carefully if you have to go out. Take care xx

Morning Christine, Great piccies, looks like a lot of clearing up afterwards was required !!! I hope you didn't lose that lovely shrub that was next to the fence. Poor Pixel really does look confused by it all, poor thing.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine. I've lived in Truro for almost five years now and I think I've chosen the most windy spot in Cornwall. Truro is built in a basin and I'm up on the ridge looking down on the city. The wind blows up the playing field that is at the back of my garden with nothing to stop it. I was in the greenhouse yesterday and I could feel it shaking all around me...not a good feeling I have to say lol. Last year in the gales I lost my teo eucalyptus trees. I'd had them since they were 6 inches tall and in the five years I'd had them down here they had grown to about 15 feet!! It was such a sad day. I dare not even try to put fence panels in and really miss them. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished new fence, they always look so good when they are new don't they. I hope the wind had dropped for you now, it's still gusting like mad here lol. xx

Hello Christine
After the day we have had here it is a good job you had your fence fitted yesterday. I think so far today we have had every season there is.
Looking forward to seeing the finished photos.
Take care
Lesley
