Friday Die Day

Hello friends
Friday Die Day this week is featuring Labels Twenty-Two.
It is a square based set with a dome either side, it looks equally nice whichever
way you decide to use it.
You receive 5 die templates with this set.
This is how they look cut/embossed.
I'm using the largest die template (No.5) to create a tag!
Cut/emboss but leave the die cut within the template and ink the edges with
distress ink.
Still keeping the die cut in the die - stamp completely with a script background stamp.
It wipes off your die template with a damp cloth or baby wipe.
When you remove the die template you have a crisp defined edge.
The smaller dies are brilliant to create little labels/tags.
I've inserted an eyelet and adhered the smaller tag with foam pads.
My flower is created from Jewel Flowers and Flourishes and three different colour felt pieces.
The heart is from a cheap bracelet I found in Claires Accessories.  I often look for
'junk' jewellery and break it up for my projects, I just nipped off the ring that was on the top.
 The finished tag.
 Close up picture.
Many thanks for all your support with FDD - I am so pleased you all enjoy it.

Yesterday I took delivery of the 12 x 12 paper stacks ready for the Nestaboard/Grand Dies Book
Class next Sunday, 20 January. It is My Mind's Eye - Life Stories.
Everyone receives a full paper stack at the class - that's 54 sheets!
Plenty to create a Nestaboard Grand Die book and to take the remainder home.
The designs are vintage kraft - very lovely.
I still have a couple of spaces available - it is 11am to 4pm
and it will be the very first class in my new craft studio!
Just drop me an email if you fancy joining in.
Have a brilliant weekend - what are you up to??
Take care.

Morning Christine, This is a gorgeous tag, loving the colours, the script background is gorgeous and the felt flowers are beautiful.
The new paper pads look beautiful too, I wish I was nearer to you, I would love to do a book.
Weather forecasts are horrid, hope your weekend is good. We have two flat pack sheds being delivered today, so our weekend will be emptying the two side sheds we now have, then dismantling and erecting the new ones, oh goodness, not looking forward to it ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Good morning Christine

I love this tag too. I have a few label sets but not this one! I knew you'd get me starting my list early!! The stamping the script over the die is so effective, that's something I must have a go at too.

I am still definitely planning on coming to one of your classes, but am waiting for my husband's health issues to be sorted first.

I'm planning on clearing/sorting/tidying my craft room today, in the hope of making some space and finding my mojo as I have a couple of cards to make for the end of next week!

Hope you have a lovely day off today and get all you want done in your studio.

I'm not usually keen on tags, but this one would translate very prettily into a card, and the best bit is that I already have the dies!

Lovely tag Christine, I'll have to have a go at inking/stamping while the die is still there. So effective.
I hope you will be repeating the 'book' workshop again. I would have loved to come next weekend but I have a 'big' birthday next week and we are having a family celebration, renting a converted barn, for the same weekend. I'm really looking forward to it and I hope your first big event goes well for you.

I love the tag Christine. Good luck with the first workshop in your new studio. I'm trying to get my flat back to normal after having a decorater here all week. It is now nice & freshly painted but it holds you up from your crafting. How dare he!!!.
