Hello friends,
Today I would like to share chocolate!
Some time back Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine asked me to create 10 Christmas projects,
(at the time it was boiling hot outside and did not feel at all Christmassy!)
Nonetheless, I really enjoyed putting together some slightly different Christmas ideas and over the next few days I will show you a few.
This is a chocolate wrapper. A fun idea for a small gift, perhaps for teacher, work pals etc.
I removed the original wrapper and used that as a template to make a plain one from cardstock.
Then onto a base I began to build up my design. The papers are Cosmo Cricket - Odds and Ends - not a Christmas line at all but I think it works.
The Layered Poinsettia was a running theme through all my projects and here, by using a lighter paper, I think you get a really different look.
Lace Doily Accents create the strips at the sides and Labels Twenty-Two for the stamped tag.
Tiny bit of lace and it's finished.
Tomorrow I shall be back with another project - be lovely if you could stop by.

Beautiful! (although you had me at chocolate!)
What a super idea Christine...... certainly makes it look like a special gift.
I would NOT be givin' this away....far too pretty!
I have seen simple ones done before but nothing like the one you have done, simply wonderful.
It would have to be very special chocolate to be wrapped so wonderfully!
