A Week of Hearts - Day 5

Hello friends

Day 5 and it's flowery!
I'm featuring Classic Hearts and Scalloped Hearts along with
Foliage and Spiral Blossoms - a little butterfly sneaked in too!
I don't normally mix a lot of patterned papers but it seemed to work this time!

Quite a lot of heart products are on sale on the website here - I hope this
Week of Hearts is inspiring you.
When I started to look through my projects I realised I use hearts a lot!

Other news:

I'm not the only one who is busy at the moment, Elliott is in the process of building
a new computer, the case arrived...it is huge!
Until all the other parts arrive, it is currently a feature in my lounge!

Elliott has had a bit of a tough week with his testosterone injection (it's not nice and painful)
so this arrived at just the right time.

I'm at my City job today - I always say it...Thursdays and Fridays come around way
too quickly, I crave being back in my cabin and crafting.
While I'm crafting I've been watching a stack of Agatha Christie Poirot dvds - love them!

And finally - Bella news.
She's being a pickle at the moment...she only wants my Dad to take her for walks!
I take her on our usual walk, through the woods and down the field but she's been
rooted to the spot half way and then decides to trot back home!
Plan of action - treats in my pocket!
I find that works for the boys too!

Take care friends, stop by tomorrow for Friday Die Day.

Hi Christine. This is really pretty, it is bright and cheerful. I love the papers, especially the blue one.
I bet once Elliott has got rid of all of the packaging the actual case is not that big!
Any idea why Bella only wants to walk with your Dad at the moment? What a little pickle. Food is usually the answer isn't it : ) Take care.

Hi Christine,
Lovely card again today, love the flowers. Gosh Elliott is clever building his own computer but it must be great to understand and customise it himself. I hope his injections get easier for him. Aren't dogs funny, the have their little quirks and fads don't they. My little border terrier is 14 now and her personality is constantly changing, especially as she is getting older.

But it's not so easy to carry big Mac's in your pocket Christine.

Rather Elliott than me with the computer, he must be a clever lad. Hope he feels better soon.

Hi Christine, Love the card very pretty, Elliott is a very bright boy and it will take his mind off his problems. Bella has her own mind, dogs are very comical and clever and I think she knows you will treat her if she walks with you. love Jean Z xxx

Lovely card Chrstine love the papers used. Glad the computer case cheered Elliott up, I watched panorama last night and it was about the royal marsden hospital and trialing new drugs for cancer was very interesting and made me think of you all. Don't work too hard the weekend will be around soon. xx hazel

Hi Christine
Love this and yesterday's as well. Completely forgot to look yesterday. Seems like my brains in a pickle as well. I wonder why Bella only wants to walk with your dad at the moment. It does seem odd. But as you say treats work well. Looks like Elliot's new computer bits came at the right time to cheer him up. How clever is he being able to build his own or outer. Hope the box isn't a feature for long.

Hi Christine, I like the patterns mixed together, they look good. Have to laugh about treat, just about every living thing or person fall for the same trick and it makes chores so much easier. X Ros

Good morning Chrisine,
Gorgeous little heart card today, the papers mix and match so well too. I have loved this week of heart projects!
My order came yesterday, thank you very much for the free gift, it love ribbon, you are so kind xxx
Elliott has been so incredibly strong throughout his whole diagnosis and treatment, he's allowed an off week, it's no fun to keep having blooming injections, I hope that the PC building will be enough of a distraction! He should maybe write a blog about building the PC and it's progress, if he has time!
Well I am looking forward to FDD, will it be hearts ?
Love and huge hugs
Sandra xxxx

Gorgeous card Christine.

Hope Elliot is a little better, it can't be nice. How clever to be able to build your own computer?

Poor Bella, bless her, there is obviously a reason she does not wish to go any further. Do let us know how she gets on.

Hi Christine
Gorgeous card today. I love the patterned papers you have used.
I hope Elliott is feeling a bit better. Hopefully the computer building will distract him from the treatment.
Poor Bella. I wonder what has frightened her? She looks very smart in her winter coat.
Take care
