Friday Die Day

Hello friends

It's Friday Die Day and today I'm featuring Floral.
This is one of the Spellbinders® decorative card front dies.
There are two dies in the set and the measurements are:
Inset: 3¾ x 5” Border: 4¼ x 5”.
(That border die used alone is brilliant for plain rectangles too!)

This is how it looks cut/embossed.
And this is how it looks embossed only.
Just use your embossing sandwich and the result is just as beautiful.
I've applied a strip of floral washi tape along the bottom.
(This washi tape is available on the website at a bargain price here).
I then cut/embossed Pretty Petals B and Sentiments 3.
Attached them to the base area of the card so not to detract too much from the lovely
floral embossing.
Just a couple of gemstones for extra sparkle and done!
A fresh clean card with a shot of blue and pink.
Floral is also the die I used for this month's Charity Kit (details here)
Imagine inserting a backing of rainbow paper...that would be effective.
It could be a very useful die indeed! :)

Have a wonderful weekend everyone, let's hope for finer weather please,
at risk of being blown away!

Take care friends.

Hi Christine, it is so easy to forget the use of the die as an embossing tool on its own. This card is lovely. Anne x

Hi Christine
Such a simple card but it looks so stunning. Congratulations to Patricia and Janice. My that new die cutting machine does look heavy. But I can see the attraction if you want to buy the thicker dies. Would save you buying two machines if you like the sizzex style dies as well. Look forward to seeing more of this.
