Both Tuesdays and Fridays seem to come around quickly now!
Today's tip/technique is a little idea with layering your die cuts.
Instead of placing one on top of the other, consider
cutting/embossing a die cut with a smaller die out of the middle area.
Then reinsert the die cut on foam pads.
It allows the patterned paper to show through underneath.
I appreciate many of you may do this but I've been contacted by new
crafters so I'm covering a variety of techniques - beginners and advanced.

Hoorah poinsettias it must be Christmas very soon.
Sorry about that but the poinsettia is one of my all time favourite dies, and yes I must start making cards for Christmas soon.
Thanks for reminding us of this tip, it is so easy to get caught up in the latest thing and forget older techniques.

Thank you for the Tuesday Tip, I think that tips are suitable to all levels of skill, even if you are more experienced it's great to revisit some older ideas, that we have done and forgotten.
My Tuesday Tip, don't let your children persuade you into having pets, one of our two new babies, Milo is really not himself, so I have been up all night worrying about the poor little mite! Vets opens in ten minutes thank goodness!

Hi Christine. Thank you for the tip today. It's good of you to remember that there are always beginners as well as more advanced crafters out here. It's always good to be reminded of various ways anyway, especially if your memory is like mine! : ) I usedto hate thinking about Christmas too early, but since starting to make my own cards I love seeing projects and cards about it : ) (I use the poinsettia die all year round, with a few tweeks you can make different flowers etc. It's one of my most used dies)

Thanks for the tip Christine. I haven't done anything like this with my dies before and I sometimes find that I don't use the smallest die in the set very often. This technique would mean they would get used more often.
Great to see the poinsettia die out and about. Like the other ladies I love this die and use in constantly for Christmas cards. Is it too soon to start that marathon card making session I wonder?
