Friday Die Day

Hello friends
Today for FDD I'm featuring Love Locket - one of the Die D-Lites,
not one of the newest ones but I love this set and realised I had not featured it.
You receive three die templates - the outer locket shape, inner pattern with key hole
and the key. This is how they look cut/embossed.
A card! I've used some wood grain paper and Papermilldirect linen ivory.
I proceeded to cut/emboss two of the lockets with the inner pattern.
Placed them at angles with Sprigs (yes this die is still on my craft desk!)
And for an injection of brightness Blooms One in turquoise for the flower.
A stamped sentiment is the finishing touch.
Simple but striking...hopefully!
Remember if you are coming into Gravesend tomorrow
please stop by the shop for the Charity Knit and Natter event.
Doesn't matter if you cannot knit - feel free to pop in and say hello.
Mum is furiously cake baking...!
Take care friends and have a great weekend.

Hi Christine, ooooo my mouth is watering at the sound of homemade cake and it is early in the morning. Wish I could come and sample your Mum's baking.
What a pretty card today and I love the colour combo - I would not have put them together but they really do go.
Enjoy your knit and natter tomorrow.

Morning Christine, I have this die and the key is very useful for 18th or 21st birthday cards too, especially when cut from craft metal.
I wish I lived closer so I could pop in for a knit and natter - plus a slice of cake!
Enjoy your day
Lesley

I like the card Christine, but I think you should have included the key! I wish I could be there tomorrow to come and visit, but it's not to be, so I hope everyone has a great time.
