Retro Spellbinders®

Hello friends

I'm very pleased to tell you that I've managed to source some
retro Spellbinders again!
Today featuring Rose Blossoms.  This was originally from the Edgeabilities set.

The die comes as one piece but within it there are three designs.
A spray of roses and leaves attached to a frame and two separate roses with foliage.
This is how the main part of the die looks cut/embossed.
Apologies, not the best photo but it gives you an idea of how you can create
a frame/envelope flap even.
This die is perfect for stencilling.
I chose Distress Inks - Barn Door and Forest Moss.
this makes it so much easier when stencilling through smaller areas of the dies.
I then attached the main die cut with one smaller rose die cut onto a card base,
some pretty wallpaper design paper from my scrap box (Carta Bella I believe).

Little bit of twine and stamped tag from Back to Basics Tags and complete.
I have a very limited stock of these dies but at a bargain price.
They are available here.
I will try to bring you more retro Spellbinders, it is fun visiting previous designs -
a lot were about before I joined Spellbinders so all new to me!

Today I am loading up the car with cakes, firm favourite Lemon and Coconut,
Cherry Cobblestone Cake and Nigella's Chocolate Muffins!
Mum is bringing her cakes too so lots of photos tomorrow of our Knit and Natter event.

STOP PRESS!!
They have arrived!  Last night Elliott and I packaged and sent them all out,
so if you've ordered it is on its way!

Take care friends.

Hello Christine. We've said it before and I expect it will be said again that it's sometimes a good idea to revisit dies that are lurking at the bottom of the box. I found some lovely flowers the other day that I had completely forgotten about. Thank you in anticipation of receiving the handy dandy tool. If only I could remember what to do with it! xxMargaretxx
