It's....Friday Die Day!

Hello friends
Who keeps putting time on fast forward??
Before I know it Friday is here and that can only mean one thing...
Friday Die Day!
This week I'm answering a request to showcase Exquisite Circles.
These dies are part of the Spellbinders  Majestic Elements.
You receive 6 circular dies that offer a variety of cutting, piercing and embossing - no two circles are the same.  Brilliant to be used on their own or layered.
Here are all 6 stacked inside each other.
And this is how they look individually.
Firstly I've chosen three dies to cut/emboss.
I placed them onto my cardstock and secured them with some removable tape.
This is the finished result, the embossing is beautiful.
Next I chose to use two further dies, placing them in the middle.
The result is a pretty shaped aperture and a rather splendid decorative embellishment.
 I succumbed to a tag..again!
Luggage tag stamped with script stamp and a tiny piece of pretty lace adhered to the bottom.
I chose to cut a piece from one of the circles.
Then added the decorative element.
Topped with vibrant green Foliage and Spiral Blossoms Three
Some close up photos.

Superb dies, so many options - I've only used two of the die cuts on my project but imagine a
scrapbook page.... I also think cut in burgundy/red they look a little Christmassy too!

A little newsflash: a space has become available on the Christmas Tags class on 27 October.
These classes were the fastest to book up, I think it may be my reputation with tags! :)
For this tag class we are using special tags from East of India and Authentique - Festive paper stacks.
If anyone is interested, please email for full details: christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk

Have a wonderful weekend..guess what I'm doing...crafting!
I do intend to tidy the garden too, say goodbye to the summer flowers, plant some bulbs
and risk scratches galore when I trim back the blackberry bush!
Take care friends.

Good morning Christine. I am back to my normal routine now visiting your blog and Friday Die Day as I have been on holiday. Been catching up this week on what I have missed. Lots of lovely stuff.

Hi Christine,
superb tag made with a great set of dies. As with all Spellbinders they are so versatile.
Hope you manage the bulb planting because it's raining in this part of Kent, and I'm due to have my back windscreen replaced after a disaster yesterday.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Oh wow thank you so much for this Christine! I have only used mine once so far and it was for a Christmas card so I do know they work well in that respect. Seeing how you layer them up like that is sooo helpful I will have a play this weekend!! A gorgeous tag I just might try and do that - thanks for the inspiration. One happy crafter xx

HI. Oh no, another set of dies on my must have list. Really lovely tag yet again. I got all my Chriistmas stash out yesterday and spent some time cutting out poinsettias and snowflakes so today I'm finally starting my Christmas cards. Have a good weekend.

Hello Christine
I have had these Dies awhile and they make such strange shapes, I just play with them... the Negative seems to leave an embossed image which is clever. So glad you have used them today

Morning Christine, Brilliant tag,, I love it, the dies are fantastic and how you have layered them up and got frames etc, absolutely brilliant.
I don't know how you come up with all your ideas, but thank you for sharing them with us.
I hope you manage to get your gardening done today, it is pouring down here in Cheshire, yuck.
I was up to here with my comment when my internet connection went ..... I have spent an hour on the phone with Virgin, phew, and she has now got me up and running again, yeah, brilliant.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine

What a wonderful project. I rally do like those dies. I did order the marvellous squares to start off my collection. Looks as though I need the spiral blossoms 3 too.

Hope you manage to get into the garden, ours is looking very neglected at the moment but we had a lot of rain through the night so it will be a bit soggy out there today

Hi Christine,
I have 'Marvelous Squares' and 'Resplendent Rectangles', but didn't know about the circles. Oh dear, something else for the wish list. Appreciate the tutorial as the techniques can be applied to other Majestic Elements too.
Thanks.

Thank you for showing these dies on FDD Christine - I have them but was a little apprehensive about trying them out (yup I'm a wuss). You have made it look a lot more simple than I expected it to be so thanks again and also thanks for the totally amazing tag - I love this. I would love it if you would pop over to my blog and check my tags out - please don't feel it necessary to leave a comment though I know your time is precious.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx

Hi Christine,
I don't think I have even seen these dies before. I have missed so much over the past few weeks, alot to catch up on. So glad to see you using something so different for us and especially with the layering of the dies to cut, it really shows off their potential. A beautiful tag as I would expect from you and I especially love the way you have created the corner with a part diecut.
Hugs Linda xx
