Just Pawing Around...

Hello friends

I'm sharing another favourite today.
(I promise there are new projects coming - I just cannot share them just yet).
Easy to understand why this is a favourite, Pawing Around (Cat) -
it feature a cat, two styles of heart and paw prints.

I've chosen to make a cat sympathy card.
I've noticed shops now stock sympathy cards for the loss of a pet
which I think is lovely.

For my card I die cut from black card and then drew around around the heart shape
and cut out to create a cream card backing.

My card base - a strip of dotty patterned paper adhered down the left hand side.

It was then simple...stamped the sentiment down the right hand side
(Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings),
I placed the heart bottom central to the card front.
Added a paw print (middle size) and flower - the flower is Marisa's Bouquet.

Pawing Around - Cat is available on the website here - it's in the sale!

Take care friends -
wishing you all a 'purr-fect' day - sorry couldn't resist!

Favourite Flowery Tag

Hello friends

We had a wonderful day at the Kent Show on Sunday but goodness it was hot!
I find the heat just zaps my energy, I'm far more productive in winter!

Today I'm back with a favourite flowery tag.

I've taken a regular kraft luggage tag and papers from Cosmo Cricket.
These are my most favourite papers of all time and I just had a few scraps left.
The dotted layer has been die cut with Pierced Rectangles
and the ivory cardstock with Classic Scallop Squares SM -
both available on the website.

Affixed my layers in place.

Cut two banners and stamped with a sentiment -
Altenew.

My foliage and flowers are from Floral Berry Accents.

A few gemstones added - the finished tag.

I have this tag on my display table in my craft cabin, I often change
the projects but this one is permanent.

Take care friends - apparently cooler weather today
so I intend to be busy.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week I am featuring Rebel Jewels, another stunning design by
Stacey Caron from her Rebel Rose collection.
I love the interlocking chain design.
There are three dies in the set and the approximate measurements are:

Jewel: 1.15 x 1.15 in.
Gem Frame: 3.20 x 3.20 in.
Jewel and Chain: 5.50 x 5.50 in

For my project I'm using the middle die - Gem Frame.
This is how it looks cut/embossed.

My card base and a 5x7 ivory mat.

I then discovered on my craft desk an Untamed Heart cut from gold foil card
left from last week's Friday Die Day.
It interlocks beautifully!

Just the addition of a sentiment and little flowers - finished!

Sort of clean and simple!

Rebel Jewels is available on the website here and
you can also see Untamed Heart here.
Take care friends and wishing you all a lovely weekend,
I'm definitely tackling the garden...no excuses, needs to be done!

Pretty Organisation

Hello friends

Over the weekend I had a post go up on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
blog all about organising your crafty bits and bobs.
I can be a little OCD so I always look for nice ideas to store
all the 'messy' craft stuff and boxes are ideal.
Labeling is essential!

You can view the full post here so please feel free
to take a look and, as always, massively appreciate it if you have
time to leave a comment.

Lovely response again to this month's charity kit, just a couple left!
Thank you to those who have purchased - they have gone out
so should be with you very soon.

Today, although running a little late, back in my cabin
and planning next month's charity kit!

Take care friends.
