Hello friends
This week's Friday Die Day is Lisette Oval.
This is one of Becca Feeken's Shadow Box Collection dies
that works alongside the shadow boxes or as a stand alone.
I started with an ivory card base.
The patterned paper is Anna Griffin and available in a pack
on the website here (also one of our bargains!)
Using the middle size oval I cut out an aperture.
I then mounted the script patterned paper with Crafty Foam Tape.
Flipped the oval to reveal the reverse busier pattern and placed this inside
the aperture.
Using the decorative ovals, I die cut both from ivory cardstock.
I affixed the largest to the card front around the patterned paper oval.
Time to make the flowers - these are Cinch and Go Flowers IV
Cut from watercolour card.
Lots of sizes in this set so brilliant for whatever size flower you need.
I inked with distress inks, spritzed with water and cinched -
I really did squeeze and manipulate these to
I really did squeeze and manipulate these to
create vintage(ish) looking flowers.
Clustered with the leaves on the middle size decorative oval.
The finished card with the addition of pearls, gold cord and
a little Hello sentiment.

We have some Grand Cabinet, Grand Dome and Grand Arch dies
back in stock, these work well with the shadow box dies.
I know many of you are awaiting the actual shadow box frames
to be back in stock. I keep checking with the UK distributors but no sign as yet
but I promise to shout it from the rooftops as soon as they arrive.
A very busy weekend for me, I'm going to be at Crafts Plus in Basildon
tomorrow and Sir Stampalot in Peterborough on Sunday.
Both days are workshops, it still isn't too late if you wish to attend any,
please contact each craft shop to book.
Take care friends, have a smashing weekend,
what are you up to?
