Hello friends
By the magic of Blogger scheduling I am hoping this publishes
on the correct day while I'm away!
This week's Friday Die Day features Trapezoid Dance -
this is one of the Quilt It dies designed by Lene Lok
The beauty of these dies is that it is one die that cuts 9 identical shapes.
Both the fall out and aperture are useful.
Within minutes I was able to cut multiples of die cuts in different colours.
For the white die cuts, I placed them inside Flourish Stitch embossing folder,
also designed by Lene Lok.
(We are looking to source and stock this folder soon).
Onto a white card base panel I was able to align the shapes in horizontal rows.
The panel completed.
The finished card mounted onto white card base.
Stamped sentiment, the flowers and leaves are from Homespun -
if you follow my blog you'll know I've used these for years!
Trapezoid Dance is available to pre-order on the website here.
due in stock later this month,
I love this design, I'm thinking black and white would be perfect for manly cards
and festive colours could work really well too.
Take care friends, wishing you all a fantastic weekend back in the UK!

Great use of the die. May have to treat myself.....again!
Hi Christine, I'm loving your compilation with the embossed pieces alongside the solid pieces.
I hope you are nowhere near the floods the US state of Texas is experiencing, my heart goes out to the families.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Christine this looks a lot easier to put together than the quilt I've just made using tumbler dies. Great design. Best wishes Jackie x
I think it would look great in black and white, too, maybe a little silver for new years.
Great card. Have a great trip. Laura O
