Friday Die Day

Hello friends

It's Friday Die Day!
Going very festive this week with Flurries.
This is one of the new decorative card front dies, it means you have such a beautiful
background you may not need to add too much more or you can go mad and add loads -
depending on your style!
It is two dies, an inset measuring 3¾ x 5” and the border measuring 4¼ x 5”.
Also, that outer border die is useful to use on its own as a nice size rectangle.
This is how it looks cut/embossed.
I found a piece of spotty paper in my scrap box which I thought look like snow.
Mounted my decorative card front onto the spotty paper with 3D Foam Squares and
wrapped a length of silver ribbon around.
Stamped a sentiment and cut/embossed with Labels One.
The foliage is Ivy and the little red flower is Pretty Petals D.
Some close up shots.

Check out the other decorative card fronts too - Contemporary Circles,
Diagonal Chevron, Floral and Glass Effects.

Have a great weekend, it has certainly turned chilly - scarves and mittens at the ready!
Take care friends.

Hi Christine and lovely Family.
Wow I love this die, I am getting the chevron one for Christmas, I think it will be a good all rounder. Thank you so much for all your inspiration, I have no imagination at all but I have a go. Have a great weekend all take care Kitty.

How pretty! It's a fab card and reasonably simple to do - once you have been shown. As Kitty says, I have no imagination but are inspired by your work x

Hi Christine,
A lovely card, and the dotty backing paper works so well, it really does look like snow. I love the picture of Mitchell on FB, very funny.
Take care,
Chris xx

Hi Christine. What a lovely card. This die is great, who doesn't like snowflakes? You don't need to add much to make it look beautiful do you.
I hope you have a good day. I am off to Bath Christmas Market with Gem today, something we have been meaning to do for the last couple of years, so I am really looking forward to it : ) Take care.

Hello Christine
sometimes I need to see what you can do with a die, before I buy, the little Ivy is one I haven't considered, but sometimes they are the workhorses of a card.
Love the base Snowflakes another I needed to look at too!
I hope you are getting all your cards and presents done Christine!
Have a lovely day
Love Marg

Good Friday morning Christine,
Wow I love today's card, so quick and simple but with great detail! Just a couple of embellishments and you have an fantastic little card!
I must ask what that is that you used, it's gorgeous !
I looked at the Balsam Hill Website as I was totally blown away by the the fact that the garland you showed yesterday was artificial! Oh my what an amazing website, not sure I would invest that much on a tree with it being the kittens first Christmas though! How has your tree faired?
Have a lovely weekend,
Sandra xxx

Hello Christine
This is a brilliant die and would simplify late Christmas card making, as I am going to need to do. Why do I always leave it to the last minute? I always start with the best of intentions but it never seems to go according to plan. (sigh) Maybe next year!
Super card.
Take care
Lesley

What a great FDD! The die looks so much MORE when it's cut, but I suppose most dies do.
I'm SO cold and appreciate the 'Warm wishes'! Hope you're nice and toasty in your crafty cabin. Have a great weekend.
