Winners on a Wednesday!

Hello friends

Thank you for all your kind compliments yesterday, the woodland cabin is
so lovely and I can't wait to start moving in.
We are not wood treating the inside, I like the lightness of the natural wood.
Flooring is a little dilemma, carpet, vinyl with rugs... what do you think?
Photos will definitely follow the progress :)

Today announcing winners of last Friday's Give Away Die Day!
As promised there are 4  ....

1. Patricia Howarth who said:

"My favourite 'go to' die would have to be Layered Poinsettias, I use it countlessly and I always adore how it looks depending on how I curl it or layer it. It is my 'favourite of all time'. I also use regularly my Back to Basics Tags, and recently I have been using Grand Scalloped Squares for frames."

2. Cazann49 who said:

"I love ALL my Spellbinders dies but I think my most used die is Classic Rectangles co-ordinated with the Classic Scalloped Rectangles."

3. Belinda Raven who said:

"My go-to dies are Labels One and I have collected most of the different sets. Of course with Chrismas preparation, my Layered Poinsettias will be well used."

4. Hazel Young who said:

"ooo difficult one back to basic tags closely followed by labels 33 which is great for sentiments."

Congratulations to you - please send an email to hope-chances@live.co.uk
with your address details and a set of dies will be on their way to you.

I mentioned my first Ambassador event will be a CHA Retailer Product Training Day
in Coventry at the beginning of next month.
I'm busy making up projects and kits to demonstrate in workshops on that day.
If you are a retailer (or you know a craft retailer) please direct them to
the website or ask them to get in touch, I'm happy to provide any information regarding the event.

I will of course be sharing the projects with you all afterwards so you can see
what I've been up to!

Heading to The Royal Marsden today for Elliott's MRI results,
everything is crossed!  As you can see those growth injections are working.

Take care friends, it's definitely turning chilly - heating on now!

Good luck today for Elliott, my fingers are crossed too. I heard that McDonalds are stocking up. The cabin is looking good Christine, I would go for vinyl with a huge rug, the best of both worlds then.

Hi Christine,
Congratulations to all the winners.
I agree, I would go with vinyl and a rug.
I hope all goes well with Elliott today. Take care. x.

Congrats to the winners. I'm not a great lover of carpets and rugs, we only have them in the bedrooms and thats under protest, so definitely vinyl. Quick and easy to keep clean means more time for crafting!

hope the visit goes well and enjoy the mc donalds. JuliaT x

Good Morning Christine
Well done to the winners!
As for the cabin I think a washable floor would be good, and then removable rugs as it might get cold in there!
Good luck today at the hospital!
Take care

Hi Christine. Congratulations to Patricia, Cazann49, Belinda and Hazel. Enjoy your dies you lucky ladies: )
I think I would go for vinyl then a large rug, vinyl as a practical draught free base and then the large rug for warmth. What sort of heating are you going to have? Keeping that gorgeous light wood is the only way to go, so light and bright : )
How good to see just how much Elliott is growing, and his face is changing isn't it. I will be thinking of you all today, everything is crossed for you Elliott!
Yes it certainly has got that nip in the air that means the heating goes on for a while first thing in the morning in particular. I love the autumnal colours but hate the damp and darker days: (
Take care.

Hi Christine,

I would go with Vinyl as in the wet you could be walking mud through and it would be easier to clean than a carpet!

Congratulations to all the winners.

Good luck with the results today. Thinking of you both.

Love & Hugs

Morning Christine,
A difficult choice, for me it would have to be carpet, but I can see that may not very practical, so perhaps vinyl with large rugs would be better.
Congratulations to the lucky winners.
Hope all goes well for Elliot.

Personally i would go with vinyl as in bad weather it is easier to clean and machine washable rugs. Congrats to all the winners myself included :). Good luck for today I can see Elliott is shooting up now which is great news. I presumed Mc D's is on the menu for today too xx hazel

Love the cabin Christine, but go for vinyl, not carpet. I detest the time I spend trying to get bits of die cuts and glitter out of my carpet.
Fingers crossed for great results today.

I hope all goes well with Elliot today, he certainly is getting taller!
Congratulations to the four lucky winners! I'm going for wooden type flooring in my new craft room, makes it easier to clean 😉 Decisions, decisions eh!

Good morning Christine,
I think vinyl would be the sensible choice, given the location and the fact the Bella will be in and out, with a lively cozy rug for warmth! I am looking forward to watching your creative genius set to work! Thanks for allowing us to share your journey xx
Everything crossed for the results today, will this trip involve Macdonalds by any chance?
Congratulations to the lucky winners, enjoy your Prize xx
I must go get ready for Sue (Mrs B) to come pick me up for our crafty day at Pats (Witney)!
Crafty hugs all round,

Hi Christine

Like you I loved the natural wood inside the cabin I think I would go for a cushion floor vinyl and a couple of sheepskin rugs one for under your desk to sink your toes in so soft and comfy he he :) mind you I think Bella would make her bed there......

Thinking of you and Elliott hope all goes well. I noticed on the pics yesterday he was stood next to your Mum and whew he is getting so tall Bless him.

Congratulations to all the winners.

Hugs Annxx

Hi Christine
Congratulations to all the lucky winners. I'd go for vinyl myself what with Bella coming and going just to make sure you are not skiving. With a splash of colour with a nice warm rug.
Hope all goes well with Elliot today, I assume you will finish up at McDonalds. Now where did that idea come from. It's not as if Elliot is a fan is it ha ha.

Morning Christine, Didn't post yesterday but absolutely love the cabin. I think vinyl with rugs, easier to keep clean I think. What colour is the outside going to be? What a beautiful setting, the garden is really beautiful. Hope all goes well today for Elliott. He is looking really handsome and getting taller now. Hope the results today are really good. Take Care. Gemma xx

Afternoon Christine
I am doing a ‘happy dance’ all over the house !! I have just logged onto your Blog and my name is at the top, I am so, so, so, happy, Thank You.
Congratulations to all the other lucky Winners, you will be as happy as I am.
Good Luck at the hospital, and Elliott has definitely caught you up, Christine, he will be towering over you soon.
I, too, would go with vinyl and a huge rug, vinyl easy to clean and the rug for a bit of warmth on top.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Lovely cabin! I think you are right to keep the wood light inside. Vinyl would be easy to keep clean and comes in some gorgeous styles/colours - carpet would be a real pain! Something to keep your wee tootsies from freezing in the cold weather will be essential.
Thinking of you today - everything crossed here also!

Conratulations to ALL four winners today.
Thinking of you Elliott, hope all went well for you today.
I've got wooden floor boards and a big rug in my craft room - easy to keep clean and the rug makes it homely. Agree with the light wood effect, could put an emulsion wash (scandinavien style)and a dead flat matt acrylic varnish to protect it.
Love Carolyn
