A Crafty Space

Hello friends

Okay so where was Friday Die Day yesterday??
It went on a little summer holiday as it clashed with the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
and Graphic 45 blog hop.
I am sorry for those of you who stopped by and wondered what was happening -
I did mention it at the bottom of yesterday's post but perhaps not everyone read that far.
I got a flurry of emails and some were quite cross, it appears crafters do not like change.
I promise it will be back in its rightful place next Friday
(otherwise I'm in trouble!)

Back to today...
Who crafts in a place like this....
(imagine that in the voice of Lloyd Grossman!)
The answer is Sandra Riley.

Sandra has sent some great photos of her crafty space, let's have a look...
An organised desk (far more space than my desk right now!)
Everything to hand - look at all those ink pads and great twine holder.
To the right of the desk with handy storage drawers on the window sill.
An exciting photo showing the Grand Calibur and magnetic die storage - brilliant!
Lots of lovely 12 x 12 paper and some ribbon storage going on there too.
Thank you so much Sandra for sending the photos,
it is so great to explore these crafty spaces.

And..it's not too late - if you would like to send photos of yours -
remember it can be your dining table, your garden shed - just wherever you craft.
Email to: hope-chances@live.co.uk

Take care friends - enjoy your Saturday,
what are you up to?

Morning Christine, wow what a tidy space! I'm envious of the tidiness. My craft table is covered in bits of paper from making 60th wedding anniversary cards for my mother and father in law ( yes 60 years!), glitter - well you gave to have glitter and bits of jewellery making ( I branched out). The floor has so many storage boxes that I've pulled out to make the cards that it's an obstacle course to get to the table....... Perhaps today I'll have a go at tidying.......it looks like it's going to be a rainy day. Have a wonderful Saturday.... Lynn

Hi Christine. What a lovely surprise to see my wonderful new friend Sandra's great crafty space. We meet up a couple of weeks ago, along with Pat another crafter, as we all live near to each other. We meet at a cafe and four and a half hours later we finally parted with very numb bottoms! We are going to Sandras house next time so I will get to see this, very organised, crafty space for real, I can't wait Sandra : )
I hope you have a great weekend Christine. Take care.

Oh a very neat and tidy craft room! When friends ask what I'm crafting I always add 'tidying' my craft space. I didn't realise how often I said it till someone pointed it out! I buy storage boxes etc but the stash just grows beyond them. I need more space...
I enjoyed yesterday's post, tge book is beautiful. Have a lovely weekend Christine and Elliott.

Morning Christine,
So jealous of Sandra's craft room, such a lot of wonderful stash, if I only had that much space to store things I would be in heaven.
Have a good weekend.

Hi Christine,
Another lovely craft room, and thank you to Sandra for letting us in. I use a similar way to store my dies, because I need them on show to see what I have. Will send pictures soon, but like most other crafters I need to have a tidy first.
Have a happy weekend
Chris xx

Morning Christine
What an amazing craft room. The desk is brilliant - so much space and everything to hand. Love the wall of dies - you are able to see every die you have. I have to rummage through files to find mine.
I am sorry you got e-mails from Miss/Mrs/Mr Angry yesterday - it is such a shame. The blog yesterday was lovely and informative as usual. I loved it (and it also meant I didin't have to add another die to my wish list!!!)
Today I am off shopping ready for my daughter's birthday and then I will be spending some time in my craft room. Its that festive time of year!!
Enjoy your day
Lesley

Shame on those who got cross with you about the die day - yes I like it, but no, I wouldn't berate you about it!

Wonderful craft room, I especially envy the stamp pad storage and that wonderful 12 x 12 card stand! I want both!!!!!

Hi Christine
Another fabulous craft room! Sandra really has packed it full and organised it really well!
I'm absolutely stunned and saddened to read that you received emails yesterday from some very cross crafters which you do not deserve. We all know you are a very busy lady and provide us all with a fabulous blog each day, full of inspiration and ideas. Yes, we all love FDD, but yesterdays project was excellent and of course fitted with the blog hop. I hope they haven't upset you too much, you do not deserve that.
Enjoy your day.

Hello Christine. I too missed the die day but your blog is always interesting so thank you for keeping in touch every single day. This is a very handy craft space. Mine is rather spread out but I guess that does get me up and out of my chair from time to time! xxMargaretxx

Sandra's craft room is one to aspire to. Very organised. Mine is rarely that!
I always appreciate Friday Die Day, but nothing in the crafty world needs to be set in stone. Change is good - keeps us on our toes. It's your blog after all and we are merely spectators.

Hi Christine,
Thank you for showing my craft room, I will let you into a secret, I did spend sometime tidying before I took the photos. The boxes on the windowsill are full of gemstones as I am a bit hooked on making jewellery at the moment, alongside my first love of card making of course!
Lesley I still have a draw full of folders of dies, but I try to keep the most used ones to hand!
The kittens love all ribbon and twine storage, I think they see it as a challenge, I keep finding bits of ribbon all over the house!
Mrs B, can't wait for our next coffee morning xx
Thank you all fir your lovely comments x
Can't believe anyone could send you an angry email Christine, you are the most giving, kind & caring person I know, you have continued to blog everyday for years, despite going on holiday and going through the one thing that any mum would dread with Elliott but you continued to blog regardless, for that you deserve a reward! I am grateful for your post everyday no matter what it is! Xx
Big hugs to all,
Sandra xxxxx

Afternoon Christine, Wow, Sandra has got a lovely craft room, lots of work space and lots or organisation. I love these craft space posts, I'm nosey hahaha, but it's great to see if there are storage tips that I can use in my craft room too. No matter how much space you have in your craft room, you never seem to have enough haha.
I was really sad to read that you got emails from peeps who were cross !!
Have a lovely weekend, we have had torrential rain here today and at times it has been coming down in 'stair-rods' and bright sunshine at the same time !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx
