Pink!

Ever since the Spellbinders Grand Calibur arrived on my craft desk
I've realised I'm drawn to pink - raspberry bright pink!
Today I could not resist these roses - they match perfectly.
I have to say teenage sons do not think a great deal of this shift towards 'pinkness' but I'm loving it!

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday

Hello everyone - I'm back!
I haven't taken part in WOYWW for some weeks but believe me my workdesk has been in constant use.  I've been a busy bee creating new projects and even dabbling in making a few craft videos, a pretty flower here and a butterfly card here (thank goodness for teenage sons that have lots of techie know-how!)

So here is my workdesk, more fabric flower cards being made.
And of course... how could I forget ....spot the cat!!
Here is Darcy making it SO easy.
Have a great week and I hope to stop by and visit lots of desks.

Video - Spellbinders™ Butterfly Card

I've got round to doing another video and this time I'm doing a simple and effective card using Spellbinders Butterflies and Labels One SM die templates.
The papers I've used are Jillibean Soup - Blossom Soup and note how the Grand Calibur cuts and embosses all three butterflies in one go - saves so much time!

Others products: bling from Want2Scrap and adhesive and foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives
This card can be dressed up with sentiment, ribbon and more but I do like the clean simplicity of it.
Happy creating!

Chicken Soup - Recipe 42

Chicken Soup time again!
I selected the inspirational picture this week -
I adore floral/Cath Kidston type fabrics and I think this picture is heavenly.

Keeping the fabric theme in mind I made a card with a fabric flower, a few posts back I did a little video tutorial on making fabric flowers with Spellbinders die templates.
On this card the flower is made using Rose Creations,
I've also used some stamps from Flourishes.
Hope you feel inspired by pretty flowers too, if so visit Chicken Soup
and join in the creative fun!

Take Note!

A quick post this afternoon to show you a tiny notebook that I made.
This uses the following Spellbinders die templates: Foliage, Rose Creations and Labels Seventeen
I love the summery green colouring.
Hope everyone is having a great Friday!

Scrapbook Magazine

I'm in print!
I was invited to do the Budget Challenge in this month's Scrapbook Magazine, three layouts for £10.
I must admit these were submitted some months ago so it was a lovely surprise to see them when I opened up the magazine to browse.

For all three layouts I used Echo Park Sweet Summertime paper and American Crafts cardstock from Sarah's Cards. My butterfly punch got a some usage - no surprises there!
I do now recall that all three layouts are of Mitchell... sorry Elliott!

Chicken Soup - Recipe 41

So sweet!
This week's inspirational picture is truly yummy, how wonderful would it be to have all these sweetie jars ...

I decided to go with the picture totally and decorate my own jar.
Inside is rhubard and custards - remember those?
I used Spellbinders™  Labels Four die template and a Waltzing Mouse Rescue Remedies stamp - these are brilliant as they fit the die templates perfectly.

I'm not sure this jar will remain full for long....
Happy creating.

Flourishes Blog Hop

Super excited today - it's a blog hop!
Flourishes has teamed up with Spellbinders Paper Arts to show off some amazing stamps that match up with Spellbinders die templates. Country Charm Labels and Country Charm Borders.

Tags and labels are so popular right now - the stamps consist of three labels that coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders Grommet Tags (S4-322).
Also, there are 6 beautiful sentiments and 4 accent stamps to dress up your labels.

Paired with Flourishes Country Charm Borders you have the perfect set.

I put the stamps to use and decided to use a combination of border, label, sentiment and some flower accents.  Layered with Labels Eighteen it was simplicity to make and effective.

So let's get blog hopping.....
click on the links below to visit some super talented ladies and their stamping creations.

I'm positive you will love these stamps and they are available now!

Wedding Notebook

There's nothing quite like a wedding and this weekend my boss Sarah-Marie will be getting married in Wales.  To mark the occasion I decided to make a little Wedding Notebook for her.
I thought after the wedding it might be nice for her to jot down some memories of the day.

I used the following Spellbinders™ die templates - Labels One Small, Fancy Tags, Grand Labels One and a combination of Fancy Pants and Anna Griffin papers.

I wish her a wonderful day, a happy future and sunny weather!

Chicken Soup - Recipe #40

Chicken Soup time again - goodness Fridays come around so quickly!
This week the inspirational picture is clean crisp hanging white plates with baby blue bows.

And my take on the picture is this card....
A simple design but I thought it mirrored the plates well.
I used the following Spellbinders dies - S4-308 Labels One Small and S4-316 Heart Circles.
Remember to visit Chicken Soup to join in and enjoy being inspired!
