The Right Tools...

Hello friends

A little later today - there's unrest in the Emberson household!
Mitchell's two hamsters who have lived happily together for over a year
have now developed a hatred for each other...
we're wondering if it's political! ;)
So panic first thing to separate them and now going shopping for another
cage, it will look very much like a pet shop here!

Back to calm crafting...
Look away Dad as this is most likely for you!

I've made a Father's Day card using a great die set called Toolbox.
I chose to cut the tools and box from a variety of blue cardstock and foil card.
Mounted these onto a Pierced Circle.

The sentiment is typed and die cut and a few gemstones to jazz it all up!

Toolbox is available on the website here -
it's a very 'handy' set to have - boom boom!

I'm crafting in my cabin today, getting ready for
a retailer show in Coventry next weekend, putting together
lots of kits - I will share those with you very soon.
Before that...reinstating hamster harmony!

Take care friends.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

We did our bit yesterday...
Bella was quite confused having a late evening walk.
We was determined to capture her for #dogsatpollingstations !

Back to crafting...
this week's Friday Die Day is Frame of Mind.
A die set with a wonderful selection of stamps.
The approximate measurements are as follows:

Frame Die: 1.90 x 3.10 in
Make it Beautiful Stamp: 1.40 x 2.50 in
Love Stamp: 0.80 x 1.70 in
Be Brave Stamp: 0.30 x 2.00 in
Hello Stamp: 0.90 x 1.80 in
The World is… Stamp: 1.10 x 1.50 in
This is a more detailed look at the stamps and the frame die.

I've cut/embossed and stamped 'Hello' to the middle.

My card base has been embossed with Enchanted Embossing Folder
and I've created a Blooms One flower.

I added a strip of patterned ribbon and a narrow mat of coordinating pink card
behind the stamped frame.

Frame of Mind is available on the website both new (in the sale)
and pre-loved here.
I've mentioned before I'm not the most confident stamper but I find these
stamps really easy to use and the image is crisp.

Take care friends, wishing you a sunny weekend.

Fearless...

Hello friends

Today I'm revisiting a Spellbinders die and stamp
set called Fearless.

Designed by Debi Adams it features a banner shaped die,
coordinating stamp and a combination of sentiment stamps.

I think the sentiments work perfectly for anyone
going through a difficult time or perhaps starting out
on a new venture.

I chose a simple design using Studio Light papers,
die cut multiple banners and layered them.
I stamped the sentiment to one and added three diddy flowers.

Fearless is available on the website both new and pre-loved,
you can view them here - bargains!

Still not too late to leave a comment on yesterday's post and
be in with the chance of winning a pre-loved die set.

City working day today, leaving Bella in the loving care
of Mum and Dad, she is showing off her new hair cut or just snoozing!

Take care friends.

Midweek Giveaway

Hello friends

Wednesdays can be funny days, there they are stuck in the middle
of the week and now commonly referred to as hump day ...
For those who work full time I can appreciate it feels like
you are half way towards the weekend.
Personally it marks my last crafting day before embarking on city job!
Whatever we think of Wednesdays I thought I would mark the middle of
the week with a giveaway.
I have a pre-loved set of Floral Swirls Strip on offer.
I featured this die last week in my Friday Die Day post and video.

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning this pre-loved die,
please leave a comment on today's blog post and next
week a winner will be announced.

Also feel free to check out other pre-loved dies on the website here -
apparently Elliott has added more!

Happy Wednesday everyone.
Take care.

Flower Tile with Roses

Hello friends

It's been a bit breezy here...
I'm currently having the front of my house repainted and I'm
constantly checking on my workman up his ladder!

Today's card features Flower Tile.
A geometric grid design with pretty daisy floweres.

I matted pink and pale grey cardstock onto my card base.
Die cut Flower Tile from ivory cardstock and then used the die
to cut some rose squares to paper-piece into the alternate blocks.

I added one of my glittery flowers to the corner.

I really like this die, I also made a larger project using four die cuts
together - I'll be sharing that later this week.

Flower Tile is available on the website here

Take care friends - Bella is having a haircut today,
haven't told her yet!

Marisa Job's Framed Floral Card Front

Hello friends

Thank you to those who have purchased a charity kit,
they have all been packed and placed in the post.
If you missed it, please feel free to view yesterday's post.

Today sharing with you one of the samples I created for
Create and Craft using Framed Floral Card Front.
A special pretty die set consisting of the main panel
and the matching decorative border.
This is one of the dies from Celebrate the Day collection
I've die cut with ivory card and backed with papers from my scrap box.

The flower is inked and I've even used something quite like a bow (scrunched ribbon really!)

Framed Floral Card Front is available on the website here
along with the full collection here.

Like many, I'm shocked by the tragic London news,
it feels very close to home.
My heart goes out to all those affected.

Take special care friends.
