Coralene's Chemise

Hello friends

Today sharing with you the very stunning die set -
Coralene's Chemise - one of the Chantilly Lace Collection
Even the name is elegant!

This is a good size die - the main frame measures 4.80 x 6.80 inches
so it makes stunning statement cards.
I cut each die from white card, the swirl frame twice.
I crisscrossed that for a centre feature atop the white rectangle
raised on foam pads.

I placed a silk flower to middle and a stamped and die cut sentiment
at the bottom of the card.

Here you can see the detail in this die set,
the fine dotted scallops and the outer frame emulating lace.

I rarely do layered fussier cards but thoroughly enjoyed making this one.
Coralene's Chemise is available to buy new and pre-loved on the website here.

I'm off to Milton Keynes today, catching up with my crafty pals.
Wishing you all a great Sunday.

Take care friends.

Pat was the lucky winner and as soon as she received
her prize she got crafting.
This is her gorgeous card that she created.
I think the dotty black and white background really offsets
the yellow lemons and I love the sentiment.

Pat has her own blog - Focus on Papercraft,
you can view it here - some wonderful crafty makes.

I always enjoy receiving photos of your projects with the Spellbinders
dies you've won or purchased so please keep it up.

Make Mine Lemon Lime is available on the website
both new and pre-loved here.

It's not too late to enter this week's Hump Day Giveaway,
feel free to pop along and leave a comment,
this time it is Big Blossom.

A busy day of crafting ahead for me, various deadlines to meet
and creating boards and samples for Create and Craft TV.

Elliott is home all weekend and I know he's working through more pre-loved
and reducing the sale items even further -
so keep checking back on the website.

Take care friends.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week's Friday Die is Trailing Hearts - a beautiful designed two piece
die set by Marisa Job for Spellbinders.
The approximate measurements are:

Heart: 2.20 x 1.80 in. 5.60 x 4.60 cm
Heart Grid: 4.15 x 5.40 in. 10.50 x 13.70 cm

This is how it looks cut/embossed.

For my card design I used the Heart Grid and Heart cut from white,
an additional Heart cut from silver mirror card plus little flower and leaf set.

My card base with 5 x 7 matting and patterned paper stamped with sentiment.

I positioned the grid to the top of my card, affixed silver heart to middle
and white heart to right hand side overlapping.

I then realised I needed some more hearts!
A white and silver - Classic Hearts.

The finished card - three hearts in a row.

Beautiful edging to this die set.

Trailing Hearts is available on the website here.
Other Marisa Job's designs can also be found here.

Take care friends, wishing you a great weekend -
are any of you crafting?

'Those' Mini Poinsettias

Hello friends

If you've followed my blog for a while (or even a little while)
you may have noticed that I tend to use small flowers and leaves..a lot!
One of the designs I use the most is mini poinsettia.

The mini poinsettia comes with a die set - first released a Christmas ago -
5 x 7 Holly Frame.
It has now proved quite tricky to obtain.
And then last week when I was in Harwich, a lady at the workshop
asked if I would consider having pre-cut mini poinsettias
on the website - of course I can!

So, here we go...they are listed here.
Each pack contains 20 flower pieces
(that makes 10 double flowers, 5 red/5 white).
The white can be coloured with inks/sprays.
Also included is 10 leaf sets.

Let me know what you think.  I'm hoping it helps everyone in need of
mini poinsettias :)

Take care friends and please stop by tomorrow for Friday Die Day.

Stack of Gifts Card

Hello friends

A 'stack of gifts' card today.
A simple design using Classic Rectangles
for the parcels - it helps to clear some of my scrap box pieces!
A strip of ribbon placed vertically and adorning each parcel is a gold die cut.
The 'Noel' and '25' are from a new Christmas die set - Ho Ho Ho,
available to pre-order on the website here.

There is a full step by step tutorial of this card on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
blog here - feel free to take a look and if you have time please leave a comment.

Because this was speedy I was very nearly tempted to make a batch...
nearly!

Take care friends and please stop by tomorrow
for Hump Day Giveaway!
