Hello friends

Back home following a great day demoing at Time2Craft in Chesterfield.

Big thanks to all the crafters who joined me for a natter!

Here I am nearly set up to start, yes there's biscuits, tea and chocolates..all good things!

And here I am in full demo swing...

The sun was shining outside so I was delighted with the turnout.

In fact the weather has been gorgeous the last few days, so much so 

Mitchell took Bella on a 'doggy day out' with is workmates.

Mitchell is far right.

And I really think Bella is smiling here.

I've got my list written up for this week as I'm finally getting around to videos!

Elliott's nagging has taken its toll and I've listened and we are setting up cameras,

tripods and all sorts of 'techy' paraphernalia.

I will keep you posted on when they are going live - good job I got my nails done!

Hello friends

This week my projects featuring Flower Bundle
were featured on the Spellbinders blog.
I chose to make a gift bag with coordinating mini card.

Particularly loving the foliage with this die set, such pretty curly leaves,

it is also nice that you get three styles of flowers too.

As this post goes live Elliott and I are stepping out the door and driving to
Chesterfield to demo at Time2Craft.
We are celebrating as the hospital has agreed to Elliott having his MRI in an open sided scanner! 
We are awaiting to hear the date and we only have to go to Croydon
so pretty much on our doorstep.

Friday Die Day

Hello friends

This week's Friday Die Day features Victorian Picket.
A sweet die set that could be used for many projects.

The approximate measurements are:
Grassy Patch 1: 1¼ x ¼” (2 pcs)
Grassy Patch 2: 1⅜ x ¼”
Rail: 5⅛ x ¼” (2 pcs)
Fence: 5⅛ x 1½”
 

This is how it looks cut/embossed.

It's a card this week.

I selected some shaded papers from Cosmo Cricket - Summer Love and

die cut the fence aperture in each.

I cut/embossed the fence and rails in white cardstock, also my favourite Sprigs

and some smaller flowers.

I then trimmed the shaded papers to represent sky and grass and inserted them

around my die cut and glued down.

My next step was to create a rectangle - I used Pierced Rectangles.

Love the 'dottiness' around the edge!

My card base - white cardstock matted with patterned paper -

Kaisercraft - Kaleidoscope.

Stamped greeting - Lawn Fawn - Scripty Sayings.

Added the Sprigs and flowers (decided not to use the bright pink one!)

Throwback Thursday!

Hello friends

Throwback Thursday...it's all over Facebook, Twitter and more.

Urban dictionary tells me it is:

"When you put a picture from a "while" ago on your social media sites"

so I thought I would have a "crafty" Throwback Thursday!

I posted this scrapbook page on Thursday 4 June last year

when it appeared in Scrapbook Magazine.

A geometrical layout with a handy tag for journalling inserted at the side.

The dies featured are Flutters, Sprigs and Blooms Four - all in stock!

Oh and the photo of Elliott - wow he has changed! 

Yesterday we were back at the Royal Marsden and firstly...good news - 

Elliott's CT scan came back clear, no changes to his tumour - such a relief.

Secondly...I think we still have a battle on our hands regarding the open sided

MRI scanner.  No decision has been made and we should hear within

the next few days but they seem adamant to go down the route of more

psychological counselling because they feel this is best in the long run...

There is so much I could say, it was a long meeting and we barely got a word in(!)

 but I will wait and see.

Peaches and Cream!

Hello friends

Today's blog title may be a little misleading but the colours of

my project are peach and cream/white!

Today we are back at the Royal Marsden.

Elliott was there on Monday for a CT scan.  Today we receive the results and also 

discuss further the possibility future scans being in an open sided MRI scanner - 

fingers crossed!

It's been another busy week, barely time to catch my breath before

returning to my City job tomorrow and Friday!

Also not forgetting this weekend I'm demoing Spellbinders at 

Time2Craft in Staveley, Chesterfield.

Hoping some of you may live that way as it be wonderful to say hello.

After the sneak peek I'm announcing this month's Charity Kit.

It's an add-on kit for your Memory album but equally it could be used alone as a project.
