Feeling Crafty Anyone?

I've been busy this week setting up 'Mum and Little One' - a monthly  postal craft club for parents and children - please visit the blog http://mumandlittleone.blogspot.com/ and/or feel free to email for details busy.beads@blueyonder.co.uk  This month it's all mosaic! :-)

Elephant Madness!

I fear this could be something of an addiction - I ventured out again in my lunch hour today, just beyond Monument and found these two!

Elephants!

The elephants have arrived in London and they are stunning. I work in the City so armed with my camera I rushed out of the office at lunchtime and joined the tourists at More London (the new swanky bit of London Bridge!) and snapped away. Here are just a few. There are approximately 250 in all - I'm hoping to get a picture of each one - including the one at Heathrow Terminal 5 (thank you Angus travelling to Kiev!)

Sketch Challenge

As part of my ongoing untreatable addiction to scrapbooking - here is a page I've produced for Sarah's Cards monthly sketch challenge http://sarahscardsltd.blogspot.com/2010/04/april-sketch-challenge.html

I never seem to tire of taking photos of daffodils! Spring is definitely the most beautiful season :-)

A Strange Variety of Garden Plant!

Take one window box, plant ivy to the middle section allowing it to trail profusely, purchase half a dozen or so Winter Pansies, make sure they are sturdy looking plants to withstand the chilly night air. Plant three each side of the ivy and within a short time you'll have a nice balanced attractive window box.... alternatively... plant six and three will be flattened by the cat who thinks a window box is a mighty fine place to spend the day!!!
