Bonjour! I spent my Bank Holiday in Paris.. or perhaps more accurately sitting on a coach for hours on standby at Calais dock! It wasn't so bad as it sounds but I would advise that if you do Paris - go Eurostar - far quicker and zero stress.
But Paris was wonderful and I was a proper tourist zipping around the Eiffel Tower, a stroll through the Les Tuileries, the spectacular gardens in Paris in between the Louvre museum and the Champs Elysees and then stumbled across a wonderful English book shop in the heart of the Latin Quarter. I could have spent days in there - there was even a little area where you can use their typewriter - it was so quaint and charming. Back home now and washing machine is on overtime!! Au revoir :-)

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!
Hello! As you can see very little on my workdesk today - just in the process of making a little tag to go on a gift for my friend's birthday. Some weeks ago I pictured my black and white boxes and this week you get to have a look inside... one is for plain paper scraps and the other for patterned. I should delve into them more but I forget exactly what is in there! If you're wondering what this workdesk thing is all about then visit Stamping Ground you'll be snooping for hours I guarantee!
The reason for my lack of crafting is that I've just got back from a wonderful but very very hot holiday. Turkey is a beautiful place and I've had the most relaxing time, best of all I've got lots of photos including this one... the most amazing sunset and...
Have a great week everyone and thanks for visiting - love reading all your comments :-)

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!
Hello everyone, again big thanks to all my visitors - I love reading all your comments. Today the workdesk is packed up and ready to go - I'm off to a crop today so my gorgeous bag is bulging with plenty of stuff (mainly punches, I like punches!) Now for those of you who wonder why I keep showing my desk I should have mentioned this link before Stamping Ground - you get to see over a 100 desks - it's brilliant, like a 'through the keyhole' to craft rooms everywhere!
Managed to do a few things this week but some are a little secret but I can show two layouts, both featuring my eldest son (youngest son now sad because they keep count you know!) The 'Smiles' one is a Sarah's Cards kit.
Have a great day everyone - I will not be 'desking' next week as I shall be in Turkey and roasting if the temperatures are anything to go by! :-) xx

Camera Shy
It's no secret in our home that since I bought a super-duper Canon camera you can't move without your photo being taken! My sons have perfected the duck and run technique but I did think that at least the cats were willing until today... even Darcy has had enough!

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!
Firstly let me say a really big thank you to all you nice people who visited me and left comments, I'm still smiling at some of them - yes that really is a cat in the top of my storage shelving and to prove it I'm posting a Fluff picture this week so you can see her grumpy face! And big smiles to those crafters out there who agree I should sell a child!
I thought I would share with you my new pink lamp from the wonderful Ikea (of course!) It does mess up the black and white theme a little but I just loved it. Also, my bargain three tiered basket - it cost me a whole £1 from a local boot fair and it came to pieces so I popped it all in the dishwasher - it came out gleaming!
Right.. now this Wednesday.. I have various projects in progress including... entering some sketch challenges - this is one I've done, pictured and sent off so fingers crossed :-))
I managed to view about 100 desks last week, apologies if I missed yours but I hope to see them all this week. Oh and just to prove what my desk really looks like when working here it is... I do have a Slice for that storage but its currently in its travel case!
Happy crafting everyone and come back soon... Christine x :-)

Everyone Needs a Hug!
So far my most favourite picture this Summer. Mitchell with our nephew-dog - Harry. We would love our own dog (tiny house and being out at work stops us) but we feel blessed to have Harry-hugs whenever we see him :-)))

Time to scrap....
Having a cat that thinks it is part-dog, part-baby (she chews everything and wakes me up very early in the morning) has a positive! I am up and at my craft table by 7am.
This morning I was able to put this layout together. My eldest son at the Kent Show last month and in his normal pose...eating! :-)
I'm still using papers from the June kit, Pebbles - Tree House available from Sarah's Cards I love the colours and the flowers are just the sort I would be able to draw..at a push! :-)
