Imogen

Hello friends,
Look it's a cat and not a dog! (Sorry Bella!)
Today I'm sharing with you a scrapbook layout that has appeared over on the Spellbinders Idea Gallery.
I put together this page using Grand Labels Four as the main focal shape and then kept layering.
Some serious distressing of the 12 x 12 patterned paper!  All the details and dies used are here.
It's not very often you see my cats nowadays - Bella does steal the limelight a little!
This is Imogen - she is now 12 but I'm afraid to say she's not very friendly - part feral.
I adore her because she is beautiful and I would dearly like to cuddle her but that's not to be!
This page is most definitely my cup of tea - flowers, foliage, lace, butterflies - yes that ticks a lot of boxes!
I had planned to show you a sneak peek of the card and gift box planned for my first class on Saturday but Blogger just isn't uploading photos correctly!!  Hopefully tomorrow it will be friendly and kind!
Have a good mid-week day!
Take care,

Hi Christine,
lovely scrapbook page. Also a lovely picture of your cat. Just thinking of doing a book for my granddaughter's wedding photos. Got the idea from Christine Harrops blog last week. Have a great crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

I don't do scrapbooking, but I can see elements that would translate nicely to a card.

Morning Christine, I absolutely adore this layout, Imogen is gorgeous (sorry Bella, you are gorgeous too), I love the complete layout and how you have compiled it, it is beautiful. I must start on my scrapbooking very soon. Too many things I want to do, too few hours to do them in, ha ha. Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine. My cat is the same very independant and firey, and only sits on my lap or bed when im ill, as soon as im better shes gone again. I do love her so tho, even with the scratches she leaves me with!!
Anyway this 'scrap' page is stunning, lovely colours and layout. Love the little butterfly in top right corner!

Hi Christine

What a stunning cat and layout. I love how you have used the Grand Labels 4 and the papers and colours you've used are gorgeous. I love the foliage die - I just love leaves. The flowers you've made are superb. Enjoy your day.

Hi Christine - I'm catching up with my blogging today so wanted to say that I love the creation from yesterday - a really pretty piece of art. Today's is no exception either, Imogen looks just like two cats we had many years ago, they were 'twins' - well from the same litter and were almost identical - lol. She is gorgeous. The page makes her look very friendly!!! Ooops.

Hugs Sue P xxx

PS Lurve the pic of Bella - I always have to put the mouse 'pointer' onto her little wet nose! Don't know why - suppose I am barking!

What a stunning layout Christine. Bella is gorgeous but a cat takes my heart every time and Imogen (love that name) is so beautiful. And of course if it has a butterfly on it...........Crafty hugs, Anne x

Hi Christine
Imogen is gorgeous and my kind of cat, cos I don't really like cats cos they frighten me close up, so she would be company and looks good but no need for me to get too close. Loving the layout too.
Kind regards Diane

Hi Christine, Love the layout and Imogen is a beautiful looking cat. It is a shame that she doesnt like cuddles, my cat is the total opposite! Crafty best wishes, Carolyn x
