Monday Morning Photos...

I'm finally back with my Monday morning photos, it's been a little bit hectic lately!
So a mixture of very recent photos here.  First up:
Autumn has most definitely arrived in my little garden.
Of course it's Halloween - it is probably the least celebrated occasion in my home but I do still light a little pumpkin.
This is my crafting helper - you didn't really think I made all those creations on my own did you!?
I have finally put pretty candle holders in the garden.  I bought these in Turkey, put them in a drawer for safe keeping and discovered them over a year later!
 A close-up - truly gorgeous glass.
And of course a Bella pic!  This is her looking a bit curly after a bath, she's not keen and I'm guessing from this pose she is questioning whether a bath is really necessary!
Have a great week everyone.

Christmas In My Heart

Good morning all.
As I drove through my town yesterday they were putting up the Christmas lights!  I'm thrilled at this, it's never too early for me.  It also made me feel that I can share with you some festive projects that I made featured in the Spellbinders Idea Gallery
This layout uses a combination of die templates including Grand Labels Twenty-Three, Tear Drop Circles, Labels Twenty-Two, Layered Poinsettia (my absolute favourite die template at the moment!) and more!
The photo is of  'Mo' - my sister's Shetland pony - sticking his nose through the wire fence last Christmas.
Oh and yes it is 55 days to this Christmas...I'm counting!
Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by.

Cardmaking & Papercraft Magazine

Thrilled to be in this festive edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine
I designed four cards for their 'Quick Makes' feature and decided to go very vintage and traditional.
They feature the brilliant versatile Edgeabilities® - by mixing and matching you build up beautiful layers, card edges, borders and more.
I love how they have added festive berries, mince pies and Christmas cake to the photos - well it is only 57 days to Christmas!!

Thank you for visiting today - have a happy Friday!

Celebrating 50 Years!

Today is a very special day in that it is my Sister's 50th Birthday.
I decided I would use Jane's wonderful class at Pickleberry Papercrafts to create  her gift,
a shabby chic rag book.
These are just some of the pages - I discovered I had quite a few photos of my Sister!

It was such fun to make, using only the sewing machine to adhere everything!
I think it makes a unique gift and one to keep for her next 50 years!

Spellbinders™ Advent Box Kit and a Festive Video!

Hi everyone
Countdown to Christmas!!
A post to let you know that you can still purchase a wonderful kit from Pickleberry Papercrafts to create your very own Christmas advent box.  Fill each box with sweets and treats for a loved one or keep it all to yourself and enjoy your own countdown to the big day!
The kit contains instructions, the natural wooden frame, the Spellbinders Grand Template - Square Bracket Edge Box, dotted swiss cardstock and enough gorgeous Authentique Wonder paper to create all your boxes.

Here is one on display at Pickleberry Papercrafts.
A close up.
The sample above is made using Bo Bunny - Father Christmas papers,
(please note you will receive Authentique - Wonder papers).
Once you own the die template you can be in box heaven.
Create table favours, Christmas tree treats and not just Christmas - how about weddings, birthdays and more.
I've put together a little festive video to share.
Also if you prefer to create your advent box at a workshop (it's a full day and there is cake!) we are running one on 20 November - visit here for all the details.

Reminder Box!

Anyone that knows me will confirm how much I love lists!
I also need to write most things down each day to remind me so
I thought a reminder box could be the answer!
Each day has a decorated index card and you can pop in notes, receipts etc.
All the details can be found here - the Spellbinders Idea Gallery.

Obviously there are butterflies including the gorgeous Wonderful Wings!
Thanks for stopping by.
Had a few queries regarding how I made the box - it was actually a tea bag box, cut down and reinforced with chipboard.  I could then make the index cards to fit.

Let It Snow!

Now the weather has taken a sudden turn I feel I can share a wintry project with you.
Certainly cold and wet here today and I've succumbed to putting the heating on!
This layout is featured in the Spellbinders™  Idea Gallery.  I used one of my favourite die templates Lace Doily Accents to create the rosettes and I loved making the shabby chic frame from natural canvas.
Swing by the Idea Gallery for all the details and to view some great projects from all the Design Team.

The Make and Create Shop - Just A Note!

This month I'm thrilled to be guest designer for The Make and Create Shop and I will be bringing you three projects over the next few weeks.
This hand made embellishment kit contains all these lovely vintage goodies - all very much my cup of tea and there are butterflies too!
My first project - a card.  I've combined the bird, some of the butterflies and the delightful flower with My Mind's Eye - Stella & Rose papers, created a delicate heart border to the base of the card with Spellbinders  Classic Bracket decorative insert and gave the bird a pretty flourish tail with Twisted Metal Tags & Accents.
Come back soon to see my next project.
Thank you for visiting today and don't forget you can buy this fabulous kit at the bargain price of only £6.00.
