Just Arrived - Sweet Dixie Dies!

Hi everyone

On the website now is a whole new collection of Sweet Dixie dies -
there is a great selection from flowers, foliage, hearts to sentiments.

Hearts are always popular for any time of year and today featuring
a card using Filigree Floral Heart.
It's a detailed and intricate die with a pretty floral centre.

To achieve the look of a thicker heart,
die cut two and stick together.

With adding some silk flowers and ribbon it is a nice simple card to make.

Please check out the other Sweet Dixie dies that have just arrived and
ready to be dispatched on the website here.

By for now - I'm back soon with a New Year offer.

It's a Wrap with Carole!

Hello everyone
Today Angel Carole is back with another brilliant project using the
Etched Alphabet die set.

Mr and Mrs Chocolate Wrappers!

Carole is sharing with us her thoughts on making her projects.

I learned how to make these chocolate wrappers at the beginning of the year and,
goodness me, they’ve come in handy!
I made these as a fun gift when we had lunch with some friends who
were recently married and think they’d make nice wedding favours too.

The paper is Gilded Winter by First Edition and I chose a slightly more
masculine-style paper and buttons as embelishments for
Mr with a more feminine paper and flowers for Mrs.
I’m loving this Etched Alphabet die so much.
It has so many potential uses!
The cellophane presentation bags are from Lakeland and a
chocolate bar just fits into them perfectly!

Happy crafting! C : ) xx

Ingredients used:

Pierced Rectangles
Jewel Flowers and Flourishes
Variety of cardstock
Buttons, gemstones

Etched Alphabet is still in the Winter Sale!
And please check out the other products used - just click on the names
to take you there.

Thank you Carole, you can read more about Carole and visit her blog here.

Back with more inspiration very soon.

Christmas Wall Hanger by Carole

Hello everyone

Today Angel Carole is back with a brilliant idea using the
Etched Alphabet die set.

A glittery wall hanger spelling out the word Christmas.

Here you can see the addition of snowflakes and alphabet.

Carole is sharing with us her thoughts on making her projects.

When I had the idea for this project, I didn’t even consider
how tricky it might be to photograph it.
Maybe I should have done!
I’m really pleased with the end result of this,
but don’t feel the pictures do it justice.

I tried to make each snowflake individual, so had to send to
Elliott for an emergency snowflake die order!
I used one 12x12 sheet of glitter paper and the silver lame ribbon
came from John Lewis.
I used foam tape in between each layer so there’s a nice 3D effect
and added a few crystals for extra sparkle.

I attached my cards to the ribbon with the extra strong double sided tape
and used a curtain ring with a clip at the top – also from John Lewis.

Happy crafting! C : ) xx

Ingredients used:

Etched Alphabet
Create A Flake Three (although Create A Flake Six would also work!)
Matting Basics - Squares
Variety of cardstock
Etched Alphabet is still in the mad sale!
And please check out the other products used - just click on the names
to take you there.

Thank you Carole, you can read more about Carole and visit her blog here.
