A Friday-Die Day Follow-Up and a Winner!

Hello friends,
I've been rummaging...under my bed!  I keep boxes under my bed full of projects that I've made.
I need to keep a lot of them because they are sometimes requested for magazines, design teams, TV etc
but it does get a bit scary when you discover projects you barely remember making!
This is one of them and it features the dies I showcased last Friday for Friday Die-Day.
I decided I would like to share it with you because it proves how versatile a die set can be.
I've used three of the dies from the set, layered onto stamped canvas and lace.
Unity Stamp Company make a coordinating stamp set for this die set, very pretty but unfortunately in the States so it does bump up the cost I'm afraid.
Nonetheless, if you haven't already tried it  - experiment with stamping on canvas and on to your die cuts.
Now, I need to announce a winner.  I've reinstated Bella as a 'working dog' -
that's if picking out names out of a spotty cup constitutes working!
Here she is.....she ran off with the winning ticket to her special red blanket!
I snatched it away to reveal the winner is...........................

PATRICIA

Congratulations!
Please drop me an email: christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk
and I will make sure your E-Z Dots Permanent is sent out to you straight away.
My Amazon shop is getting a little more stocked up now, stop by now and again to see new products.
Today I'm off to my crafty studio to finalise my class on Saturday -
I think I may have to post a sneak peek tomorrow!
Have a lovely day dear friends.

Morning Christine, An absolutely beautiful card today, simply gorgeous. I love the die-cuts with the stamping on them, it totally changes the look of the die-cut. I spent most of the weekend organising my dies, I have cut up my magnetic sheets and have stuck inside the folders with the dies on them, that tip was brilliant. Only problem is, I have run out of magnetic sheets, and still loads of dies to do, I have some bought but not arrived yet. I think it may be me who is the winner, will email to check. Lots of love from Patricia xx

what a fab project Christine - love how you have used most of that set - I did try out the technique you showed last Friday and it did work quite well although have learnt that I need some new cutting plates as the scores showed on the embossed part. i will certainly have a go at using a canvas for stamping as often thought about it but got no further. thanks for sharing

Just watching a late night re-run of one of your shows on C&C and it was me that was pulled out of the cup!
Alas.... your beautiful creation never arrived :o( I was soooo excited to be 'the chosen one'. Never mind. I can appreciate all your wonderful cards right here on your blog.

Gorgeous card - it really shows off how fab these dies are. I have a roll of canvas that I haven't used yet - maybe I should give stamping on it a try xx
