Hello friends.
Today I'm sharing one of the layouts that is appearing in this month's edition of Scrapbook Magazine.
I was sent Fancy Pants - Childish Things papers and embellishments to use and created three very different layouts.  This one features my mum with me (the day I was born!) and my big sister.
I chose a cluster design using Classic Scalloped Circles and Standard Circles and then kept adding embellishments.  I really enjoy creating these sort of pages but it is difficult to know when to stop adding!
Over the next few days I will share the other layouts with you.
Talking of scrapbooking......I also have details of a scrapbooking class - please see below,
a Sunday afternoon of scrapping! (In a crafty way of course!)
If you cannot view the document please drop me an email and I will attach details by return.
Classes for full day workshops are on their way - (must type faster....must type faster!!)
A very happy day yesterday - Mitchell, my eldest son passed his driving test.
He is spending all his wages each month on his own car,
the insurance is crippling but it is lovely that he can get out and about.
This is his pride and joy...called Rupert!
We do not know why he chose that name for his car but we all laugh about it!
Back tomorrow friends.
Take care.

Hi Christine,
congratulations to Mitchell on passing his driving test. The car looks wonderful. It's a pity most young people have such a high insurance, because of the foolish few.
My grandson has just passed his test, and because he is off to University, can't afford the insurance for a car.
Now to your scrapbook page a very lovely keepsake for your family to keep and treasure. Sorry I went off on a bit of a rant earlier. Have a great crafty day everyone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Morning Christine, What a fantastic layout on your scrapbook page, it is beautiful and the piccie is gorgeous, it reminds me of my own piccies as that was the year that my Daughter was born, I will have to start scrapbooking for myself very soon. I did one for my Mother-in-law last year and she loved it, unfortunately she died in June this year and I now have the scrapbook back, but it is a lovely keepsake and reminds me of her, she was a lovely lady.
CONGRATULATIONS to Mitchell on passing his driving test and his car is gorgeous, he will be feeling quite independent now. Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine, thanks for sharing your scrapbook page but I have never caught the scrapbooking bug, probably because I don't actually take many photos but I can see why it does appeal to so many. Well done & many congratulations to your son Mitchell on passing his test.

Hi Christine, Many congratulations to Mitchell on passing his driving test.My favourite car was called Gertie, because it was always dirty!! Living on a farm explains why.
Love the scrapbook layout, looking forward to the others. Crafty best wishes, Carolyn x.

Hi Christine. I really love your page of you, your Mom and sister. What a fantastic picture to have and be able to scrapbook. By the way, your a year older than me. lol.. Just thought I'd share. My Mitchell just turned 15 and he was so happy to see that there is someone else in the world with Mitchell as a first name. It is very weird to us that we can never find anything here with his name on it. His sister(Madison) can find all sorts of things with her name. Go figure. Anyway, Congrats to your Mitchell. How exciting. I loved that time in my life, but I didn't have such a beautiful car like his. lol. I love his Rupert and I think the name is so fitting for it. Truly a beautiful car and a very lucky young man. Hugs to you both, Lisa G
