Hello friends,
How did we get to August so quickly???
It's the first of the month and so it must be Inspiration Day!
Notice I haven't included one picture with an umbrella - I am ever the optimist!
What happens in August here in the UK?
Well obviously we have the Olympics. But there is also Notting Hill Carnival, Reading Festival,
holidays, picnics, school summer holidays - all great stuff.
Remember you can click on the collage above to make it bigger.
Hopefully one or more pictures will inspire you to grab your crafty stuff - send a picture of your finished item to me at christine.emberson@blueyonder.co.uk
Remember to include your address as I like to send out little gifts to those who take part and,
if you can, it is super helpful if you can tell me the names of any dies you have used -
I can normally tell just by looking but occasionally you clever crafters have me searching!

Images to be submitted by Monday 6 August and I will have a Gallery Day shortly afterwards.
It is also my first day of A Photo A Day
(the link will explain more, I'm thinking it is something jolly to add to my daily posts).
Day 1 - the subject is 'outside'....

I took this photo in my garden - the foliage is my neighbour's blackberry bush that visits each year,
I don't mind as the blackberries are delicious!

Hi Christine, love your outdoor picture, hope you get to pick the berries. Ever the optimist, no umbrella, in your inspiration board, I am beginning to develope webbed feet up here in Scotland, will we ever get sunshine to last more than one day? Fingers crossed for August.
Wilma
Morning Christine, Beautiful view from your garden and a lovely blue sky, we could do with that today, the sky is grey here today and it has been raining all night. I am on my way shortly to have a workshop with the Glitter Girls as I won a Golden Ticket earlier in the year, a nice sunny day would complete the excitement, well you can't have everything can you ha ha !!. Lots of love from Patricia xx
Morning Christine, what a pretty picture of your garden.
It is overcast here this morning so hoping it doesn't rain. Have a lovely day.

Hi Christine,
lovely photos of the garden. It's a pity you didn't put an umbrella or something to do with rain, in the gallery. As I've just finished a lovely card with raincoats and rain hats, and also rain. Now I will have to think of something else. LOL. Have a great crafty day eveeryone.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Hi Christine, such a lovely view from your garden and blackberries too - I love them, hope they ripen this year though. Love your collage of pictures, some lovely ideas to inspire in there too. I think mine might just be inspired by the Olympics! Crafty hugs, Anne x
Hi Christine, Just wish I had a little more time to participate - love the ides of a picture a day. Perhaps when the family go on there hols in a couple of weeks I will give it go. Promise to try anyway.
You certainly have a few blackberries to pick a little later on, thats if the birds dont get them first!! Have a good crafty day. Best wishes Carolyn. x
Christine, Just looked back at yesterdays blog, thank you for your reply to the Jazzies/Jewel drops puzzle - I'm so happy that the mistery is solved lol. Carolyn x
Lovely pictures for August inspiration day, I will try and join in this month - am inspired by one picture particularly. Love the photo of your garden - yummy blackberries! xx
Oooh those blackberries look gorgeous Christine. Hope your neighbour doesn't mind sharing! The picture is really nice - no rain allowed! It is a little mixed here in Nottingham, dull then sunny - but so far dry!

Hi Christine,
That is a perfect picture to showcase the 'Outside' for the month of August in the UK. You are so clever.
Love the photo collage for this month too. A lovely array of summer colour. Hope I get my 'crafting' back in time to play along.
