Tuesday...

Hello friends

It's so nice to read how many of you enjoy my blog and that it has become
part of your routine, it feels a little surreal at times that when I'm typing (waffling!) away
about my life and craft that it reaches out to so many people - I feel chuffed!

So continuing with the waffle...

Elliott did really well yesterday with his MRI, he had a little wobble but quickly
overcame his fear (I think my heart is still racing though!)
He will continue to be monitored with MRI scans so we know it is something that we have to do - thankfully there's always McDonalds afterwards...

Today is supposed to be TTT - Tuesday Tip/Technique but that has got a little delayed
due to a great deal going on this week (it will be back).
Instead I have a button offering...
This card that has also appeared in this month's edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft
Magazine, a festive attempt to use up some buttons!
Okay, so it's only 9 but if you made lots of cards you could really blitz through your stash!
The die is Build A Wreath - those individual dies for holly sprigs are really useful.

Now, I mentioned the new website loyalty scheme.
From now on if you order on the website you will receive a loyalty card.

You will receive stickers for every £10 spent (excluding kit purchases and postage and packing).
Once your card is complete you can post it back to me and I will email you through a
special code that you can enter on the website and receive £10 off your next online order.
If you have a shop loyalty card, it is exactly the same - you just add your stickers to
your existing card.   I did not want anyone to lose out so felt this was the fairest way to continue.
I will be setting out the full terms and conditions on the website shortly  (must type faster!!)
in case you have any questions.

The kittens are off to the vets to have final vaccinations today -
that means they can have supervised garden visits soon!
They love their travel basket (even though it is becoming a squeeze!)
They obviously haven't cottoned on that it means a trip to the vets when that door closes.

Have a great Tuesday, take care friends.

Morning Christine
So pleased all went well for Elliott yesterday. He has been so brave with everything he has been through and I think in his place I would be more than wobbling!!
Gorgeous Christmas card - the use of buttons is ingenious.
Great photo of the kittens. It took me a while to notice that there were 2 cats in the travel basket. You are lucky that they will go willingly into the basket. My 2 cats were a nightmare to get in the basket - it must have looked comical to anyone watching my hubby and I trying to catch 2 cats and get them into the basket.
Enjoy your day today.

Hi Christine. I am so glad that Elliott got through his MRI ok, he looks like he is enjoying his McDonalds though....no surprise there : )
I love the pretty card, I have a very large button collection so I will be using lots on my Christmas cards.
Goodness, how the kittens have grown. I wonder when they will stop being so keen to get into their travel basket? I hope the visit to the vets goes well! Have a good day. Take care.

Hi Christine.
So happy everything went well at the hospital yesterday.
I love your kittens sitting in their basket. I only have to lift the cat basket out of the cupboard and my 4 cats make a fast exit out of the house.
Enjoy your day.

Hi Christine
I'm glad that Elliot's MRI scan went well, and that he will be having a regular checkup. It's no wonder he had a slight wobble after all he's been through.
Hope the trip to the vets goes well, after a few visits they will learn what a trip in the basket means and then they will not be so keen to go in.
Hope you have a nice day.

Morning Christine, and Elliot,
So glad everything went well with your scan, Elliot. I am sure a regular intake of McDonalds is helping.
Love that card, I really should try to use up some of my button box since it has been an age since I needed one for it's proper purpose.
Cheers all

Morning Christine, So glad Elliott got on well yesterday, and his lovely, smiling face with his McD's shows he was glad it was over.
Your card is CAS but really lovely.
Loving the piccies of the kittens (boy they look to have grown), I can't get over how calm they look in their carrier, my Lizzie hates hers, she associates the carrier with the Vets !!!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine,
Pleased that Elliot's scan went okay with only a little wobble. The thought of a McDonald's helped.
Not a cat lover myself but your two have lovely markings.
Love your card.

So glad all is well with Elliott Christine, that must be another worry off your mind until the next scan - the kittens look huge now, compared to when you got them Thanks for the Loyalty scheme, it's very fair of you.

Hello Christine, Elliott is an amazing young man, and MRI's are unpleasant full stop, yet he does it time after time. Great card for small crafters. Enjoy the sunshine.

Good morning Christine & Elliott,
Firstly a message for Elliott, you are such an incredibly brave young man, the things that you take in your stride and 'deal with' would have had many men on their knees!
It is such a pleasure to know you and share your journey, you are a true inspiration to others Elliott! .
Love the addition of the buttons on today's card, like many others I have a sizeable button collection, unfortunately I rarely use them, I prefer to look at then in their jars!
The loyalty scheme is a fantastic idea.
Are we any nearer to the 'news' yet, I have everything crossed for good /happy news!
Enjoy your day, whatever it may include.
Crafty hugs

Hello Christine. Well done Elliott - horrific experience so you definitely deserved the MacD afterwards! I can't believe your cats love their basket - when I open that door our cat is nowhere to be seen. Have a good day. xxMargaretxx

Well done Elliot everyone is entitled to a wobble!! Pretty card I too have lots of buttons. How big these kittens have grown, it's lovely to see mischief. I have a house of geriatric animals, the cat is 13, the dogs are 10 and 11 and the rabbit is 9 all with varying aches and pains, bless!! X
