So many thanks....

Hello friends

Sending out many thanks for all your supportive messages yesterday,
it has made me feel so much happier.

For those who asked whether I will be continuing with my blog -
yes, absolutely yes!

You will still have my ramblings about the boys, Bella, kittens interspersed with craft!
I will also be sharing with you the progress of the log cabin,
the final closure of the shop and some exciting news (that I keep teasing you all with!)

And talking of craft if you've picked up this month's edition of
Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine I'm in the Q and A section with a couple of items.
One is making a Christmas card with non-festive papers (pink!)
and this is what I came up with....
The papers are Papermania - Wild Rose.  I was given a pack of pre-made bows to use,
I am not a bow person!!  So I undid one and thread it through the Fancy Tags Two die cut.
Layered Poinksettia is featured alongside Create A Flake Five.
The frame for the card front is using Classic Squares Large.
A piece of rhinestone flourish adds some Christmas sparkle (I'm always frugal with those!)

Plans for the next few weeks...
you may see the website undergo a few changes with photos etc and I will also be
keeping you updated with the new website loyalty plan.
Please subscribe to the newsletter if you can as a lot of details go out via that route
including discount codes.

Today we are off to the Royal Marsden, Elliott is having an MRI to check all is well,
I imagine we will be stopping off at McDonalds!

Take care friends and thank you again, your messages mean a great deal to me.

You are a tease! I am so glad that you had much support yesterday, not that I thought for a minute that you wouldn't. Hope all goes well for Elliott today, it was his story that I first came across to follow your blog and then discover your shop. Fingers crossed for you.

Hi Christine,
Firstly, the very best of luck for Elliott, hope all goes well.
I love your card, it shows that we don't have to use traditional colours for Christmas, I like the idea of using the flake with the poinsettias, very pretty. I look forward to seeing the progress on the craft cabin.

Morning Christine
Great Christmas card today. I love pink for Christmas. My tree last year was decorated in pink and turquoise and I loved it (hubby wasn't overly impressed though.
I am pleased that your blog will continue. You are part of my morning routine and I would miss you and your family terribly if you stopped.
Fingers crossed everything goes well today for Elliott. Enjoy your Macdonalds.

The pink card is unusual, but I bought pink Christmas tree baubles in 1985! I remember it well because we had had very upsetting news just before that Christmas, and I couldn't bear to use all our 'family' decorations, so I bought a completely new set. (and I still have them).

My fingers and everything else are crossed that Elliott passes his MOT.

All the best for today Elliott. Hope your McDonalds is extra yummy!
Your card is really lovely Christine. Unusual for Christmas, but that was the idea! In fact it's given me an idea for a very special birthday card. I'll watch out for the magazine. Look forward to seeing whatever changes you're going to make and of course the news we are being tantalised with!!

Hallo Christine, It some time since I left comments on your blog. So much has been happening with myself and my families lives. I do keep up with reading your blog spot but dont always get time to comment these days.
Just had to make time today though ... after reading about the shop closing and the news of the log cabin.
Sad about the shop, but so pleased to hear about the new 'craft cabin' and the fact that you will continue with the blog.
Hope all went well for Elliott today. Love Carolyn
