Friday Die Day

Hello friends

It's Friday Die Day and today revisiting Labels Twenty Two, a real personal favourite of mine.
(I seem to have quite a few favourites!)
The size of the dies are:
1: 1⅛ x 1¼”
2: 1¾ x 2″
3: 2⅜ x 2⅝”
4: 3 x ⅜”
5: 3⅞ x 4⅛”

This is how they look cut/embossed.

Using cream linen card, I've chosen to keep the embossed
die cut in place and rub over with distress ink.
I have then stamped across the die and die cut with a script stamp.
Once you remove the die you are left with a white border.
This smaller die templates in this set also makes lovely labels/tags.
I've inserted an eyelet and placed the smaller tag at a jaunty angle!
I then wanted some colour so went for Jewel Flowers and Flourishes cut from felt
and a little metal heart charm.
The finished tag.
It's vintage with a shot of colour.
Labels Twenty Two is available here, along with the very pretty coordinating
Decorative Labels Twenty Two.

Stop by over the weekend as I have some news...!

Have a great Saturday and Sunday - hope you are crafting.

Take care friends.

Good morning Christine
I agree labels 22 is a great die. It is brilliant when you want something a little different than the usual square and also for men's cards.
I have never stamped whilst still in the die though so I will give that a try.
Thank you for the inspiration.
Enjoy your day
Lesley

Hello Christine, at long last we have moved back into our home, almost completed the renovations just the kitchen floor to tile and then, the dreaded decorating. Still lovely to be back into my old routine.
I love the idea of stamping whilst still in the die, it looks outstanding. Enjoy the sunshine ladies.

I have the labels set Christine, I really should dig them out and use them again. Your Friday die day is good for reminding us sometimes.

I love that script stamp too.

Hi Christine,
Have just returned from a short break in North Norfolk and had no internet access and very limited mobile signal, so have missed popping onto your blog each day. The weather was glorious though and we completely walked our socks off. Loved looking back over your projects for the last few days and seeing Bella out for her walk. Looking forward to hearing your news.

Hi Christine, haven't posted for some time for loads of reasons but including lots of problems with my internet connection. Sorry to hear the shop is to close, but understandable. Have always wondered how you managed to do so much, so I,m sure it must be the right decision. Looking forward to watching the progress of your craft cabin especially as I have this mad idea of buying one of these to live in! Hope I can send this now. Take care. Gemma xx

Christine, just checking something as my last post has been sent, (though not sure if you will get to see it as I believe I have posted against the last of your posts I received before my email went down again.) I am sending this from my iPad but I'm still learning the ropes on this. I am hoping I will receive today's post. Will let you know.
Gemma xx
