Festive Winner!

Hello friends

Today announcing the winner of the lovely 3D Christmas Tree die.
And drum roll please.....it is......

SUPERNAN SUE

Congratulations Sue - just drop me an email with your address -
hope-chances@live.co.uk and the die will be on its way to you.

Thank you for all your kind words regarding my Dad, he really is on the mend now -
in fact it is going to be difficult stopping him from doing too much!

It has been such a busy time recently, Elliott started college this week
which he is enjoying but finding tiring.  It is a real change of pace for him having
been at home and helping Mum for nearly a year!

I've been busy with lots of things behind the scenes including this month's
Charity Kit which will be revealed soon.

I am also producing the Christmas Advent Kit again as I have received requests,
I'm selecting some gorgeous new festive papers for this so keep tuned.

Okay...I ought to share something new with you (instead of all this waffling!)
The 2014 Make Christmas Cards magazine has just come out and inside I have quite a few
Christmassy projects inside to share.

I was asked to use some of the free papers, tags etc which were all lilac based,
an unusual colour for Christmas but it was a nice challenge.
One of the projects was a little pyramid gift/treat box.
I do have a template for this which I tried to upload here but Blogger wasn't being nice!
If you would like the template to print out just drop me an email.
The dies used are Layered Poinsettia and Create A Flake Five.
Not too fussy and would look good on the Christmas table.

Take care friends - I'm back tomorrow.

Morning Christine
Glad to hear your dad and Elliott are well and congratulations to Sue.
The Make Christmas cards magazine is a great buy - I really like the makes you made with the lilac papers, an unusual but lovely colour for the festive season. I just need some time and space to get on with my crafting. My craft room is full of my sons Uni stuff at the moment.
Enjoy your day

Morning Christine
It's so good to read today that Dad and Elliot are doing well. Hopefully Elliot's tiredness will ease once he's in the swing of it!
Lovely box, very pretty and certainly a different colour for Christmas.
Congratulations to the winner.
Enjoy your day Janice x

Morning Christine,
A very pretty box, but I'm a more traditional person for Christmas I like reds and greens, silvers and golds.
Please Elliot has made it to college a big challenge for him. Also that your Dad is recovery well.

Hi Christine, and well done to Sue. Glad Elliott is enjoying college and hope his tiredness eases as the term progresses. My son is back to Uni on the 20th but he has been working all summer, so it might be a bit of a rest for him. I'm going to try to buy the magazine today, love your little box.

Congrats to Sue for being the winner. Love the little triangular box too. My two grands are starting Uni this week too (in Dublin). First time for the younger one, (who has Rheumatoid Arthritis) second time for the older one, (who has Aspergers and Crohns), so it's a challenge for both of them

They are both very clever kids, not ready to let their medical problems get in the way.

Hi Christine,
So glad to hear your dad is on the mend, it's so hard to get them to start back slowly, sometimes I think that they feel like they have to 'prove' that they are feeling better by making themselves super busy! , hopefully he will slow down in a day or two.
I guess it was always going to be quite exhausting for Elliott to get back into the full time 'timetable' I bet he is just falling asleep when he gets home, he deserves a medal, he and his body have overcome some huge hurdles over the last year or more, I guess it will take some time to get back into a normal full time routine, I admire him so much xx
I absolutely love the favour box, It really surprises me how you can make done of those 'shiny' magazine papers look so amazing!
Looking forward to FDD
Hugs to all
Sandra xx

I always find September is very busy with events and thoughts turning to 'you-know-what' in December! Good luck to Elliott on starting his new course. Big changes are bound to cause tiredness, hang in there. The little pyramid box is lovely and would be a gorgeous table/tree decoration.

Hi Christine
Good news about your dad and Elliot. The box is simply gorgeous and I'll try to send an email asking for the template, my emails are playing up while we are in Crete. Something yo do with hotmail as usual, which plays up when you are abroad which is so frustrating.

Pat S Witney said...

So sorry forgot yo say congratulations to the 3d Christmas tree winner.
