Craft in the Evenings....and Butterfly

Hello friends
It is a truth universally acknowledged that .... most of us have to work!
If I ruled the world you would be able to craft all day :)
To remedy this work predicament, if you work during the day....
there is going to be classes in the evenings.

The details have just gone up on the website here.
17 June is the first 'Craft in the Evening' and more will be detailed soon.
I'm thinking that as the nicer weather arrives we could combine a fish and chip supper too!

What else today??
A butterfly I think.....
This is a card using Butterfly Magic - one of the expandable pattern dies.
I have used the die to purely emboss the white card.
I then cut/emboss dotty red paper and cut the butterfly to lay over the top.
Red twine and stamped sentiment and...job done!
Sometimes less is definitely more.

Yesterday I mentioned the crafty caddy at the bargain price of £9.99 -
Lacelady mentioned the shipping cost might not be enough to cover the weight etc -
please go ahead to checkout, it will be fine :)

Take care friends and stop by tomorrow - Tuesday tip/technique.

Morning Christine,
Your evening classes are a great idea, still can't get there though, I need to move closer. I love the simplicity of your butterfly card, I have these expandable dies and I'm going to have a go at this, I forget that they look great just embossed. Thanks for the continuos crafty tips, what would we do without you.

Hello Christine. What a great idea to have classes in the evening. Grr to be living too far away for that to be an answer. I suggest you buy a double decker bus and come and do classes here in Norfolk. Love this card and why haven't I thought of embossing this die. Delicious. xxMargaretxx

A very economical way to make a simple-looking card - just one die and some paper/card. It's lovely, perfect for a batch-making session too. Less is definitely more.

Hi Christine, back from my travels with a little jet lag. Been catching up with your blogs, your dad's glue holder takes pride of place on my craft table. I feel the need to move to Gravesend to come to all your classes , it also always seems to have the hottest temperatures!!!!
