It's nearly mine......!

Hello friends
Start of a new week and today should definitely be the day that the new studio/shop
will be mine!  I will not bore you with all the details but the words: landlords and
new Lease should give you an idea of why there has been a delay!
But - all sorted now and workmen are going in this week and I will be
flying around with a paintbrush at every given hour except perhaps Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
So this is how the front looks right now (yes, that is my reflection in the window taking the photo!)
Reluctantly, I've told myself to wait until better weather to repaint the front and just concentrate on the inside for now.  I have to be stern with myself - I always want everything done yesterday!
I want to take you all on my new crafty journey/adventure.
To be honest I would never have thought to embark on this without the friendship and support of my blog follower friends, design teams, fellow designers and of course my family.
I hope you do not mind coming along??
I will be sharing photos every time I have a minute to grab the camera.
First off this is why I need workmen...no ceiling!
The previous tenants decided to lower the ceiling, put up all the beams but then left it...
They also left the rather nice Laura Ashley wallpaper but I fear that will not survive new
ceilings and plastering!
More photos will follow - today I'm going off to buy lighting - lots of it!
Oh and a Christmas gift or two along the way.
Talking of gifts....don't tell Santa but I've already opened a gift!
Details to follow soon...
Take care friends.

Morning Christine,
Bet you have butterflies this morning
it's always nerve racking until the keys are in your hand.
The shop front is beautiful your bloggers should run guessing game to see comes up with your chosen colour, my guess would be a soft blue grey.
Looking forward to seeing what you do inside.
Enjoy your day.

Oooooh I cannot tell you how much your enthusiasm is rubbing off! The front of your new 'abode' looks great - so open! And...... Bella can be there ... yay!!!

As I'm typing this I have next door's cat lying under the radiator - they go to work and whilst she has a catflap - she likes the company!!! I am, of course, in my element!!

Big hugs to you Sue Pxxx
