Hello friends
Is it really going to be Christmas Eve tomorrow!!?
I've finished all the gift wrapping - a tree looks so much nicer with parcels beneath it.
This Christmas has crept up on me (hence why I was making the Christmas cake last night...
just a tad last minute!) I know that sounds silly because I was actually designing Christmas cards back in the Summer but I just kept telling myself it was a long way off and then before I knew it Christmas was here!
I visited the shop/studio yesterday, the plasterboard for the ceilings is up and already it looks transformed.
The workmen were very busy working in semi-lighting due to having to take down all light fittings
and the weather being so wet, dull and grey.
It was impossible to get a decent photo but I will go back and take some as I want to
keep a catalogue of the progress and share it with you.
Today's card isn't new but it's festive.
It features Layered Poinsettia cut from glitter card and Holly Motifs.
The papers are Cosmo Cricket - Odds and Ends.
I distressed and inked the papers and used my little sewing machine for that extra
handmade touch.
I'm back tomorrow, thank you so much for taking time out to read my blog -
I appreciate that right now is such a busy time for everyone.
Take care.

Your tree looks lovely, alass we have no tree this year as we have a puppy and thought life would be a lot easier without a pup trying to climb a tree in the living room.

Hi Christine, your tree is gorgeous as is your card. I love the poinsettia die and use it for making other flowers. Looking forward on the update of the shop/studio, so excited for you.

Pleased to hear the ceiling is looking good too.

Morning Christine, Your tree looks beautiful with all the pressies underneath.
I absolutely adore your card, the poinsettia is my favourite, favourite die and the papers being neutral show off the poinsettia in all its glittery glory, I love the stitching too.
So glad your studio is coming on well, can't wait for the piccies.
I know what you mean about the year flying, I finished work in June 2011 and I just feel that I have 'blinked' and now we are at the end of 2012, it is so scary ha ha.
I need to ice my cakes today, amongst lots of other things, where does the time go ......
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Chriistine. Your tree looks really pretty. Lots off exciting pressies underneath.
The card is lovely. Where would we have been the Christmas without the poinsettia die? I know it's featured on most of my cards.
Only two more sleeps - I'm so excited.
