Festive Day!

Hello friends
First things first..Happy Birthday Elaine!
Enjoy your day and hopefully you will get to do some crafting too.

I'm going to be at the crafty studio all day with some lovely ladies.
Here is a sneak peek at just one of the items we will be making...
I will post full pictures soon.
This will be my last class this year and also my last class in the studio.
I'm going to be leaving the studio the second week in January and moving into the shop/studio.
Thankfully it is only four doors away - quite a lot of stuff to carry!
I'm going to miss my studio with its amazing view of the River Thames but taking on the
shop/studio is a new adventure and I'm very excited.
(I just have to stop just standing gazing at the Georgian shop window and
imagining all the ways of decorating it!!)
Bella is going to be able to accompany me at the new shop, (not when I have classes -
I think she could be a little distracting!)  This will be a great relief to me, I worry
about leaving her alone - in fact she's only ever been left for about 3 hours maximum!
Rod for my own back there me thinks!

Classes are going to commence mid-January - more details to follow.
Also evening classes are going to happen (that sounds a little studious - I mean classes in the evening).
And...news of a special loyalty scheme where you gain points to receive free dies!
Lots planned - I have everything written down in my trusty notebooks and filed in special folders on my computer - I promise to get to it all!

Talking of dogs....look at these two lovelies!
These belong to Wilma (Scottish Crafter)

Wilma explains: "They are Lhasa Apso dogs, the black one is Mei Li who is 3 years old and a proper little madam.  The beige one is Shaolin (named after the Tibetan Monks who bred them as guard dogs) is six and puts up with Meil Li, just!  The picture was taken after a walk and they were sitting on their towels waiting to be dried, with that look as if to say well get on with it!"
They are adorable and I love how they are both looking straight at the camera.
Treats are on their way.
Pet Gallery is ongoing so if you have a pet that you would like to see featured, please send along a photo
and a few details including your address.
Enjoy your Sunday dear friends - I'm hoping my Christmas tree gets decorated,
it has been 'naked' for days now with the promise that the boys are going to do it ..."soon"!

Congratulations and good luck on the big move. Yes it will be hard work, but so worth it!. I know what you mean about leaving Bella. My sister's little dog, Mollie, (Could be Bella's twin they look so alike!) rarely gets left either. But she is so gorgeous! Have a good day today. Christine x

Morning Christine, Happy Birthday to Elaine.
What a brilliant sneaky peak, it looks gorgeous, can't wait to see the rest.
So glad you now have a date to move into your new shop/studio, I'm so pleased for you.
Wilma, your doggies are absolutely beautiful, look at their gorgeous faces.
I organised my outside lights and outside christmas tree lights yesterday, also decorated the indoor 'living' christmas tree and put up tinsel and chrissy ornaments etc, looks very festive now. When the lights are on outside, I can't stop myself keep going outside to look, how sad eh ha ha, but I love how they cheery up the outsides, this year we have lights outside the back aswell. I have 3 living christmas trees outside, various years that have been repotted, they are quite big now, I have one at the front and 2 at the back, they looked gorgeous last night with their lights on.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Morning Christine, i bet everyone enjoys their class with you today. Now those dogs look to cute to be used as guard dogs - fantastic photo of them. Sounds like Bella's spoilt if you can't leave her for long, but then don't we all spoil our pets!! Emma

Hello Christine, hope your crafting day is going well. Can't wait to see the goodies that you are making. Looks like one of the projects might be a plaque. I made my first Christmas one yesterday, inspired by your recent post. I' m quite pleased with it and it's now hanging up in my lounge.
Glad progress is being made on the new shop. Hope to visit sometime next year.
Loving the two little doggies, they are so sweet.
Hope the tree is decorated for when you get back home after your busy day.
