Hello friends
Yesterday's blog post was loooooong...today's is very short!
A little box, one of the designs that I'm going to be using as table favours for Christmas.
Square Bracket Edge Box and Layered Poinsettia cut from burgundy felt.
A simple design works so well if you need to produce lots!
I'm a big fan of typing messages on my computer, printing onto cardstock and then using
the die templates - here I've used the font Edwardian Script (a real favourite)
and the little tag that can be found in Jar Labels.
Time is definitely on fast forward right now - I'm racing down my studio again today
to work on crafty projects - of course, I would save hours of time if I didn't tweak
everything within an inch of its life!
Take care friends.
I'm back tomorrow.

Hi Christine.
I really like this box as a table favour,I am sure your table will be perfect right down to the last detail,as you say you do spend a lot of time on detail and it really shows.
Take care x.
Hi Christine. What a beautiful bow and a lovely felt poinsettia. Can i ask if it's a special felt you use. I've tried to make flowers but the felt ripped as they were coming out of the die?

Hi Christine, yes your box is simple but very pretty. I am with you about typing messages and die cutting. You can personalise them that way.
Yes I wonder who pushes the switch to "fast forward" December. I am certain it is the shortest month.
Have a lovely day in your crafty space - tweaking....hehehe.

Hi Christine,
I love your little box, i spent over 50 mins yesterday trying to make a little box ,doh the lids were either too big or too small , so in the end they all went in the bin, i will have another go today,
I will have to check out the size of the box die , as i think it will be to big for my Big Shot .
Your Poinsettia felt flower is beautiful .
Have a great day

Morning Christine, ive used my poinsettia die more than any other die i have, for xmas cards, tags, bags, boxes, decorations and wreaths. So next year i would love a nice size holly die set from spellbinders - maybe you can ask please?! One that we can build up.
Im beginning to panic as the big day is getting nearer and im making presents for my close family. Emma
Morning Christine, These little boxes are absolutely gorgeous and the poinsettia is my most favourite die, ideal for table favours.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Morning Christine
Your table at Christmastime is going to look stunning with these boxes! I really must buy this die!
I love the font you have used too, thanks for sharing the name of it....I'm off to search for it. I too love printing sentiments and cutting them out with a labels die.
Enjoy your crafting day
