Festive Plaque and Photos

 Hello friends
First of all important news of an amazing Spellbinders contest - it is Explore Beyond -
create a project and be in with a chance to win so many goodies
(it is the biggest contest Spellbinders have held to date).
All the details are here.
Go on - have a go...
Today's crafty offering is a festive plaque.  This is what we created in one of the classes.
We used Echo Park -  A Very Merry Christmas paper pad - love these designs.
As you can see - Frosty Forms and Layered Poinsettia seemed to be a permanent
fixture on my craft desk right now!
I chose to print the message on to patterned vellum - it works really well.
A close up - I added some little charms, lace, ribbon, chipboard swirl, stars...
I intend to create a plaque for each season so classes on their way.
Back and in the swing of crafting now following my lovely weekend away.
Chatsworth House is truly gorgeous - this year for Christmas they have themed rooms,
each one depicting a pantomime. Peter Pan....
Every Christmas tree was themed too ...
Now to something that made me laugh....
A tag tree!  You collect a coloured tag, scribble your message and place it on the tree -
I've rotated the photo so you can see my message.
And here is a shot of the tree - an absolute photo faux pas!!
I normally check what is behind the object I am photographing....! Oops!
Back tomorrow friends.
Take care.

Hi Christine. Glad you had a lovely time on your trip. Your photo faux pas made me chuckle on my birthday. I am having the day off to play with all my new toys - that's if my wish list was fulfilled! I love the tag and that's what I hope to make some of today. Then all I need to do is buy the presents to wrap and fix the tags to! Ju
