Chocolate and Pretty Lights!

Hello friends
This is the decorated chocolate bar that I featured on TV this week, the one I made on air
was sent out to the spotty cup winner and I insisted that the chocolate go with it!
I brought my empty wrapper home but went out to buy another bar to show it properly assembled.
The papers are the lovely Tilda Sewing Bird and the pretty flowers are cut/embossed
from Jewel Flowers and Flourishes.  I adore the little leaves, they stencil so beautifully.

 A close up.
The Christmas lights are up outside my new shop!
Mine is the one painted white(ish) and with brick above.
Our local council have quite excelled themselves....
Christmas lights always make me smile - in a way I wish they could stay up all year round.
There has still been a delay with the paperwork, I've resigned myself to the fact that
it will just have to open in the New Year now - I've abandoned all my ideas of a
Christmas window, fairly lights, snow scene and more...still - there's always next Christmas!
I do hope everyone is keeping warm, temperatures have dropped drastically -
perfect time to stay in and craft!
Take care friends.

Hi Christine, bet you can't wait to open your new premises. Disappointing that you will miss out on an amazing Christmas window, well knowing you it would have been amazing. Enjoy your break.

Morning Christine

Love the chocolate wrapper - I bought two bars last week but they have those sealed wrappers so not so good to make a nice wrapper, so I had to eat them was nice though.
Might have to buy the other brand.

Shame that you wont be in your shop for Christmas, hope it wont be too much longer before its all sorted

Morning Christine, The chocolate wrapper is simply gorgeous, I love it, it is such a novel idea you have come up with for giving a (rather dull looking) block of chocolate, it makes me smile.
Sorry you won't be in your new studio before Christmas, but never mind your window will be absolutely fantastic whenever you go in. The Christmas Lights outside your shop look stunning, like you I wish they could be up all year, it is a 'feel good factor', and I love it. It is my birthday on 12th Dec and it has been a tradition since I was a child, that no decorations went up until I had my birthday, also being the 12 days before and 12 days after thingy too. I don't know what it is this year, but I am itching to get all my outdoor lights put up ha ha.
Have a lovely day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

The wrapper and the Shop look lovely, can't wait to see the shop open. I know it's frustrating not being able to open this year, but now you will have a whole year to plan your Christmas Window, I am sure it will be worth the wait.
Hope Chester hasn't stolen all your money, and that you have had a good weekend

Love the chocolate wrapper idea and really want to try this but having difficulty finding bars in a 'sleeve'. They all seem to be sealed wrappers these days. I'll keep looking though.
The lights look lovely outside the shop and I'm sure the window will look equally fabulous next Christmas. I really do want to try and visit it myself sometime next year.

Hi Christine, Hope your enjoying your special weekend. It may be cold but at least its dry and for short periods the sun has shone!!
Love the chocolate wrapper, watched your demo on C&C last week.
The photo of the shop/high street looks very festive, we will have to pretend that the shop window looks good too, until next year, when you will be able to make up for it.
Crafty best wishes, Carolyn x.
