Back With a Favourite!

Hello friends
I'm back and I'm probably a stone heavier!  I've had a wonderful Christmas Day
and Boxing Day with my family.  I was spoiled with goodies, my boys
did me proud with lots of gifts including 'It's a Wonderful Life' DVD in colour!
Bella was rather protective of her stocking..
at last count she had 5 new squeaky toys and half a dozen bags of treats!
Christmas dinner was at my Sister's lovely home, her and her husband created a feast!
Such a lovely couple of days.
Now a craft project....I created this card for this month's edition of
Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine using Kaisercraft Marigold papers and collectables -
out of all the cards I made for the magazine this month - this is my favourite.
The die cuts are from Jar Labels - I've yet to use this die set on a jar!
Instead I keep going back to it for the useful tags and shapes - I used this die set on my
Summer and Autumn card classes.
Today I'm back down the shop/studio to make a start on cleaning ready for painting,
my deadline to have everything finished is 18 January...I like a challenge!
Take care friends - how did you spend your Christmas?

Hi Christine, lovey card, and yes laughter helps you get through anything. Bella looks as though she is having fun, my two loved being allowed to rip the paper off their pressies. Have fun at the shop, it will be worth it.

Hi Christine. Glad you had a good Christmas. Had a very restful one this year but really enjoyed it. Gracie enjoyed chewing the paper more than playing with her new toys and the cats had eaten all their treats by 9am.

Enjoy your day at the shop.

Morning Christine, I'm so glad you had a lovely time, your piccies are gorgeous, your Sister's Christmas Table looks divine, Bella was having real fun with her stocking and your card is beautiful.
Have a lovely day at your new studio, yes you do love a challenge ha ha.
I have been ill for 6 weeks now, and my cough just won't go, so Christmas wasn't too good this year and I also have the cold back, so feeling really under the weather, have made yet another appointment at the doctors for tomorrow morning, I don't know I don't go to the doctors for years and years, then 4 times in as many weeks (I hate going to the doctors, but this time, needs must ha ha).
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Christine, So pleased to hear that you enjoyed your Christmas Break.
We all spent Christmas Day at my youngest Son's, yesterday, we went for a long walk and ended up at a lovely pub.
What beautiful words on your card. Look forward to seeing how you progress over the next couple of weeks with your shop/studio challenge. C.B.W. Carolyn x

Hi Christine
So pleased you enjoyed your Christmas, sounds like everything went well.

I love this card and particularly like this set of labels, one I've not seen before! Hope everything coming along nicely in your studio, not long until opening then!
