You Make Life Special

Hello friends,
Why do Mondays come round too quickly?
I'm back to London working for two days now but I still have time to chat about this card.
Created with the freebies from this month's Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine -
Pink Paislee - Spring Jubilee.
I cut two designs of paper, pink for the bottom and patterned for the top,
attached to a card base and rounded the bottom edges.
Inserted a Scallop Circle, chipboard piece and scrunched ribbon.
The sentiment is stamped onto Fancy Tags Two.
Some inking ..I like that it softens the edges and always adds that vintage look.

Thank you for all your comments yesterday - so fascinating to read how each of you spending your Sundays, roast dinner or otherwise.. I was treated to roast pork with all the trimmings and
hot chocolate fudge cake for dessert...all calorie free of course!!
Back tomorrow dear friends, I hope the sun is shining where you are today.

Hi Christine! What a lovely card..the colours are so 'cheerful'. I know.. Monday again, our least favourite day if we go to work, I think! Glad you enjoyed your roast, we were at my inlaws house with some of our friends as well, it was a lovely day! I got the magazine on Saturday, so am looking forward to using the papers, Carole Z X

I have the free gift from that magazine too and I was totally inspired by your article to sit and make some cards with them, I have to admit I usually put the free gift things to one side and forget about them.
Your yummy pudding sounds delicious yesterday, you are a lucky girl having your Mum handy for Sunday lunch, I am all for Sundays being for spending time with your family.
Thanks again for putting my card on your blog yesterday it inspired me to update my own Blog.

I have to be honest and say that I did not really like the free papers but your cards have given me a different perspective on them. Your card is lovely and I do like the distressed edges. Chocolate cake - yum.

Oh there is nothing nicer than a bit of crackling (even the low fat variety...lol!!). As it was my sons birthday yesterday we had Raspberry Roulade for dessert with thick double cream....and oooooh my mouth is watering again at the thought of it! Glad you had a lovely roast too.
I am still not sure about these papers, they seem so busy and yet todays card is growing on me; nothing to do with the design I want to point out, just the papers.
Have a good week Linda
