Hello Blogland
Today an altered mirror to show you.
I was out shopping (nowhere glamorous - Morrisons in fact!) and spotted this mirror,
instantly it reminded me of Spellbinders™ Wavy Rectangles.
I chose to embellish it with Bitty Blossoms and Antique Frames and Accents.
A lot of stencilling through the die templates went on!
I managed to feature a butterfly by cutting one with Wavy Rectangles!
Once I decorated the frame I knew I had to photograph it..have you ever tried to photo a mirror?
Well, to avoid photographing your own reflection you need another pair of hands holding up a white sheet/board just in front and slightly lower than the camera so that is all the mirror reflects!
(Thank you Elliott!)
Hope you all had an enjoyable Bank Holiday - due the typical rain I decided to craft...!
Take care,

Morning Christine,
Just shows what you can do with something that's very plain if you have the inspiration.

Oh!!! Christine, what a clever idea and the photo is lovely too. Jean
You are so clever Christine, sounds like photographing the mirror takes a lot of working out! Oh but the end result is amazing! Elliot is obviously very patient! Your boys are both very handsome Christine!
Enjoy the rest of the holidays with them,
huge hugs
Sandra xx
The shape of the mirror goes well with your die cuts, Elliot did a good job helping you. The butterfly is lovely too. If you go to Ikea they have 10" square mirrors that are great for altering, I think you would enjoy using them up and they are a bargain at £1.25.
lovely idea Christine. thanks xx hazel
